There's a lot of “names” on the waters that I have tickets for. I don't view them any differently to any of the other anglers in the clubs. They happen to make their living out of angling and I happen to make mine ripping off old ladies. It's just fishing after all. But I have to say I'd jump at the chance to fish with Frank, cos I think he must be great company and I know I'd learn a thing or twenty.
Plus I reckon Bob Lazar is definitely in some part at least telling the truth.

My own view is that they couldn't find his MIT records as he never went there. I reckon he probably lied about his qualifications on his CV and unbelievably no one checked until he'd been offered the job. Remember this was the 80s and even government departments didn't have linked computers. Let alone accessing private entities records. All paper based.
If the whole thing was made up then no one has been able to explain the following.
1. How did he know the nights that test flights were scheduled to take place and the exact location. Enough to be able to take friends out there weekly until they got caught.
2. How did he know about area S4. That had never been mentioned and it took years before other people confirmed it's existence.
3. How does the confirmed person that did the security clearance for the base remember him?

Aliens / As yet discovered other life is definitely a real thing, but we'll probably never meet them.
It'll likely be that they lived and died out, or never got the technology to travel to us.
Let's face it, however long we live on earth we will never get astronauts out of our solar system, let alone galaxy. earth has finite resources, same could be said for whomever they may be wherever they may be.
Also lets be real, of all the races in all the galaxies humans are the equivalent of the crack head in the club toilet. no ones fussed about us.

I see no reason that a civilisation millions of years more advanced than us couldn't send probes/robots/artificial intelligence out to discover other intelligent species. These probes could outlive the civilisation that dispatched them. Voyager2 is heading off into deep space.

I think his book and writings are 1st class and a very innovative thinker.
However I only made it 10mins into the pod cast as his glib comments on suicide I found hugely offensive, uneducated and stupid. I also thought Nash should have done a far better job editing the offensive ‘look at me' rant.

There are millions of other planets in the known universe that contain intelligent life, I don't think any astrophysicist would argue with that. Indeed, the Frank Drake equation set out some parameters with which we (earth's Mankind) can assess the likelihood. We humans have even set up a listening post to try to find signs of life from within outer space. (The SETI Institute is the only organization in the world that is wholly dedicated to searching for life in the universe. To date it has only found one, yes ONE such signal, the so-called WOW Signal.)
Whether we have been visited by beings from planets within the known universe is more complicated. For a start, we have to ask, what makes Earth so inherently interesting? Why are we so arrogant as to assume that beings with the technology to come here in the first place, would actually want to!

It is impossible, and even if another species could travel at 186000 miles per second it would still take 1000's of years to contact us/them, they/we just would not be alive to make contact. There are literally as many galaxies out there as grains of sand on our planet. Each one as big as our home, the Milkyway, and even bigger. All have planets, sun,s, and stars. You can bet there will be life forms in abundance out there but the sheer vastness of space won't ever allow us to see them. Just to give you an idea one light-year is just under 6 trillion miles. The nearest galaxy to our sun is the Canis Major Dwarf Galaxy. This is 25000 light-years away. That's a lot of zeros, to travel one light-year with current tech one-tenth the speed of light would take ten years

Einstein's theories/equations apply to the 4 dimensions that we can perceive (assuming you consider time a dimension). Todays top physicists all work on quantum mechanics/string theory etc which tell us there are multiple dimensions we can't perceive.
I wont pretend I understand any of this stuff but I watch and listen to a lot of material trying unsuccessfully to get my head round it. What I would say is that despite our incredible progress in physics we are so, so far off having a genuine understanding of the nature of reality and what reality actually is, that nothing is impossible.

Take dark matter for instance. We know it exists. We know that it must make up vastly more of the universe than the bits we can see. But we can't prove it. Look how many years it took to create a Higgs particle. Wasn't that proposed something like sixty years prior to its discovery?

I couldn't see any suicide references myself? if he's spoken of it in jest then he's lost all the respect I had for him. I've lost two friends I'd move the earth to help to suicide and I consider it a personal failure on my part they didn't know this in their hearts. sad business.
I couldn't see any suicide references myself? if he's spoken of it in jest then he's lost all the respect I had for him. I've lost two friends I'd move the earth to help to suicide and I consider it a personal failure on my part they didn't know this in their hearts. sad business.

I'd genuinely love to believe all that but I see no real evidence (of US govt cover up).
The Flir(TicTac)/Gimble/GoFast vids were actually declassified and released by the Pentagon. It makes no sense that they would release vids of their own tech unless they're intentionally tying to throw people off the scent by suggesting it's something else. There's been 2 US govt bodies set up to investigate all this stuff in the last year or 2, the first of which (the UAPTF) could defo be a red herring (a 9 page unclassified report is available for anyone to read). The 2nd one however (the AOIMSG which was only just set up a couple of months ago) is placed inside the Office of Defense/Intelligence & Security which is your usual top secret/classified govt type gaff. I didn't interpret this as Frank making jokes about suicide. I took it as Frank, in his own way, opening up about going to a dark place with his mental health and having suicidal thoughts.
It can be easier for people to talk about dark times by making light of them. In my opinion it's always better out than in when it comes to struggles with mental health. Particularly for ‘manly men' like Frank.
I have also had experience of these things with a person very close to me and didn't find it offensive in any way.

I suffered a stroke in May and not once contemplated suicide,if anything its made me appreciate life more.Im thankful I'm still alive as I could of been in a really bad way if the clot had travelled only a few mm's more

I'm not going lie it is hard but there is some amazing support available.I spoke to a lady at the stroke association and she really helped alot,also having an amazing wife and family really helps

So whilst I absolutely agree ‘I nearly topped myself' is acceptable or ‘I was in a dark place mentally'
His insistence on the pod cast was that he had all plans in place and would have gone through with it. Even without my experience I would find that offensive. Talking about suicide as a “look at me” is never gonna be helpful.
So many people struggle, so many people go to dark places, and this kind of “bragging” is childish, stupid and dangerous. If he'd said, I tied the noose, and got the step ladders out, made sure the family were out, would that have been OK.

A little story which I have a fond memory around late 90's when I worked for Rentokil and I was visiting one of my customers which was the Ship pub in Styal Cheshire..!!
I had my latest addition of Carp World on the passenger seat in the van I was already fishing Capesthorne...Frank was on the front cover with a capture elsewhere..
I was doing my pest control visit and he walked in with a friend on the back of his Carp fishing trip!!
My jaw dropped instantantly I recognised him I rushed to the van grabbed the magazine and approached him for a signature...he laughed and said nobody had ever asked him to sign anything!!
He welcomed me a young lad then blew my mind when asking my thoughts about Carp Leads and how they performed...haddent a f***king clue..
Got a signed Carp World though....
Love the thinking outside the box on his podcasts he's a gem

I'm more convinced now than I've ever been that the US has power and propulsion technology that the average person can only dream of. There's just too many credible witnesses and too much to evidence ignore it. Sure the subject attracts a lot of crack pots, but to dismiss them all would be foolish. Its all kept quiet you see because as soon as that technology goes public that's the end of petroleum, electricity, gas etc and tens of billions in taxes. Anyone know what currency petroleum is sold in around the world? That's right America has the biggest vested interest in keeping all of this under the carpet, as do other nations for exactly the same reason. When I was 13 or 14 ,my mother gave me a massive book on Hitler,and his beginnings,right from being gassed in ww1,and his 'love 'for his mother,who was not full German.. interesting,..stuff

Yep make those memories Morbid Angel the Marquee 1991 sticks out in my mind rammed out with ambulances waiting outside ferrying them out of the mosh pit, my mate had his nose spread all over his face by a Buster Blood vessel looking character stage diving feet first, second time he tried it the pit parted and he hit the deck flat on his back and everyone piled on and hammered him, the red cross helped him to the ambulance on a gurney.

Dont think it is... it was a big old venue think one of my most enduring memories was singing chelsea songs and building a pint class tower of emptys so high you wouldnt beleive.... finishing my postie round by 9am(old days 1980s( and rushing up to get in for early drinking sessions...tapping on window to gain entry lol.
