Hello mate. Shallower pegs are towards the back bay - 5 is shallow along the bank where the lake splits, then 6/7/8 are in the back bay itself. 9 is a double on the other side that produces a lot of fish (Simon Crow has done a good video from this peg, and a couple of others as well).
Don't count out the deeper water though, plenty get caught off the bottom in 20 foot of water that time of year, zigs as well.

If you ‘don't do social media' then why are you commenting on it? It's literally 99% of most fishing company's advertising these days. Why do you think Ali Hamidi acts like a complete tool and shaves his head like a mental patient? I had to literally block all his posts cos I got sick of seeing him, and I didn't even follow his page! Why do Nash, Korda etc spend a fortune putting out video after video, podcasts, instagram, Facebook, paying people like Scott Lloyd to go fishing?
Influence.

If you don't think that massive amounts of money is transacted due to social media ‘influencers', you must have been living under a rock this last few years.

99% of younger people are addicted to social media. Plenty make a living from it. Doesn't matter what you, me or anyone else thinks, fact is a massive amount of money is transacted due to social media influence.

Had these about 5 years. They're spot on for winter fishing, and even with joggers underneath the B&B doesn't feel too bulky.

You'd get the parcels back if you put a return address on them. They only get sent to NI to be opened if there's no address to return to sender.
I worked for RM for more than 20 years and sent thousands of undeliverable/wrongly addressed parcels back to their senders...

Fox EOS TT (pro if you can get one). Plenty of room for 2 bedchairs and gear, pramhood style and around the £200 mark. Had one a few years now for taking my kids.

I had one slightly open on a double figure Barbel in a weirpool. Still landed it, but that was enough for me to change to the X version instead. Trouble with the X is, they're so strong that if I get snagged on a rock (sometimes happens on the rocky tidal Trent where I mainly fish), even a straight pull with 15lb line won't open them out. They're certainly not ever opening with rod pressure.

Has having your gear for 5+ weeks without so much as an update ever really been acceptable? 2025 and excuses like ‘iffy mobile signal' are still being rolled out as to why you can't contact a business?

At the Carpforum La Botte trip in 2005, one of the guys running it said he'd give us a free holiday if we caught one off the top (tongue in cheek but he had nothing to worry about anyway!). It was red hot all week, we were feeding baits towards groups of fish milling around in a corner and not one was interested.
