What bank sticks are everyone using?
Budget is not an issue, so just chuck me some ideas and I'll do the research.

It depends on your needs.
after going through loads of brands over the years - original gardner, solar, neville, century carbon, matrix etc I have gone full circle & back to aluminium again
stainless will last forever but it is expensive & very heavy. the carbon stuff I've had was fragile & badly made IMO.
I wanted something lighter a couple of years back so bought a couple of cheap 16mm aluminium sticks from Hirisi on AliExpress & the stainless bits haven't been out of the shed since.
They have been hard wearing, light & for the same price as a single stainless stick I have bought 6 more of them (2 x 3 different lengths). As well as the weight difference, I would say they are a bit better as the thicker diameter means that they are less prone to twist / rotating in the ground. (The also fit with the Cygnet compact pod which is a great bit of kit IMO)

I 100% agree with you. I fish a large reservoir where you essentially set up on exposed lake bed for most of the year. For at least the last 25 years that I've fished it, I've used a single Fox camlock storm pole at the front and rear, with buzzer bars and no stabilisers. They are 19mm OD, with 16mm inserts. Never ever had one twist. I think a lot depends on the ground you push them into though. The reservoir is clay bottomed mostly. Pushing them into loose gravel would be a different story I expect!

Defiant MPS did make Carbon and stainless sticks, have both.

I like the Jag Excavators but then I'm a fanboy so bias . . . before this any of the camlok Fox powerpoints were good (I've still got several 36/48" storm poles that have lasted me decades) but saying that the cheap NGT storm poles are almost as good.
If I was fishing dedicated banks sticks all the time agree with other posters Defiant titanium is def the way forward - light, thin and strong with decent augers - also not as blingy as stainless!

I had some made up by Keith/MPS in the same 5/8" (~16mm) he used for the Ti storm poles, rather than the standard 1/2" (~12mm) Ti stuff. Ultimate bank stick imo. No need for stabilizer, rock solid as is. Assume he'd still do this as a custom job.
I still use a lot of the old MPE ali/Ti stuff in 16mm too. really good stuff.

N Brice carbon sticks have worked for me for years , nicely made and look the same as when i bought em to be honest , expensive nowdays i expect but everything is

Had a good look at the ESP ones in my local tackle shop look great but put off by the inner carbon bar which I worried would crack when sticks clamped up. has solar P1- awful stick and slip and a pain to get back together if you pull out the insert, newer solar sticks with the thumbscrews don't grip well and again slip. Eventually ended up with the Jag 316 (apparently the aluminium ones are good as well) and think they are great, super solid and built to last (in the UK), also go the bars in 2 and 3 rod and good sizing options as well.

I bought a Fantail from Keith which is a super versatile pod, although I usually use the sticks without the connecting bars. He also makes Overfits which make the sticks even more adaptable.

Stainless and titanium don't 'match' . . .just get Keith to knock you up the buzz bars at the size you require

You are correct but it's not that noticeable, the Ti is a bit duller.
Like Andy, but I have the Ti Panther and often use the sticks as separates, they're a combo of Ti & stainless. I keep wondering about getting some of the newer Ti sticks from Keith.

Yes ive used keiths dreadnought ti sticks for years now with stainless buzz bars i dont think its ever looked odd or stood out to me, i think the hex part and top on the dreadnoughts were stainless anyway.
