Thread: Bedchair Support

Hi,
My Dad is really struggling with his breathing when lying down flat. He's got COPD among other issues.
Is there a leg that is long enough to prop up the head end of a bedchair? The ones I have found only go up 40cm which isn't enough for him.
Thank you

Attempting to find a comfortable place to take my old man in September with a lodge and some decent enough carp 25lb+ all within an hour from East Sussex, so not asking for much 😂
Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Received mine yesterday too, thank you Mark.
As an avid S2 user myself I was happy to see a couple of pots of them included, but what intrigued me the most was the TC1's. Not sure what I expected and probably wouldn't have ever brought a tub (as I use S2's) but they smell like they'll catch from the off!
Out on the bank tonight, and I feel like I should give them a go!

Started on a new syndicate back in January, and I was speaking to a couple of members who have been on a while and one of them said one of the 'named' fish doesn't come out to 'big baits', I asked him what he meant and he said the last 5 or 6 publicised captures of said fish had been caught on either single fake corn/maize or 13 millers.
I've heard of fish picking and choosing what they eat, I think a few notable anglers have mentioned it before on their videos/podcasts, but to only be caught on 'small baits' seems a stretch to me.
Is this just coincidence or is there more to it?
Can they honestly tell the difference of a few mm? Surely not!
The guys may well have just been relaying information they've been told, I've no reason to doubt them, but to me it sounds like one of them things that has just stuck within the syndicate and no one has questioned it, and likelihood is the more it stuck the more people are using these 'small baits' and therefore increase the chances of picking said fish up on them anyway!

Thread: Lightweight waterproof jacket

So after 6 years my Fortis Marine Jacket has started to leak. The shoulder seam has come away internally too.
For £200 I am a little disappointed it has only lasted 6 years, and that 6 years is not week in week out usage.
Anyway, I don't mind spending the money on something that is worth it so chuck me your best lightweight fully waterproof jackets that won't let me down.
Cheers
