Nonsense, I am retired and fish 2 or 3 days a week and use the Okuma Inceptor 6000 reels and they haven't missed a beat.
I also use Shimano Ultegras for my overseas trips however, I have long since stopped buying into the "elite" 2 brands rubbish.

I second that, love my 6000 and use them on my 10ft Freespirit rods and find them sublime to use.

Go on Parcel Compare or Parcel2go, various choices and prices, I generally go for UPS collected from my house at around £15.
