I have one it does exactly what you want it to do, very well indeed , battery life is awesome the whole package is top notch. perfect size for this country. The little phone holder/ controller handle works really well . The boat is light but well made, when i used mine it coped with everything including 2 huge seagulls sitting on it and eating the bait :) . First boat i ever bought so im no expert but i feel like i bought the best one out there for me . The waypoints you can create from your scans are spot on exactly what i wanted from a boat. , you do the scan pick your spot and send the boat out , its so easy it feels like cheating. I just use it when i take my son fishing on holiday and the such , if i took it to my regular lake it would ruin the mystery of it for me. With respect to the upgrade that is now available for the deeper quest i havent really looked at that but i can imagine it just makes things even easier :).

Ive just returned from a 3 day trip using my deeper for the first time to fish having owned it a week or so , i was worried about the updates and issues but when i got to the lake it performed everything as it was supposed to , the app crashed a bit when playing back and editing mapping runs to mark spots etc but it was easy to use even if a bit frustrating to restart playing back scans when you try to make a mark or delete one but i was right next to a raf airbase which may have caused some drop out of signal etc. overall a very capable bit of technology considering what your asking it to do
. Made it very very easy to find and fish spots . Im surprised fishery owners dont love em the amount of bait you could get htrough surprised me

Thanks for the reply but i dont know where to look for that info, it may be available but i certainly havent noticed it yet. I also spoke to customer services at deeper they asked what device i was using and i explained it was android, they suggested to drop goggle location accuracy settings on the phone which might cause issues. Im hopeful they will sort it out soon. But will have a good go myself tomorrow , put the aerial extension on and sort out the settings on my phone , recalibrate it if neccesary and it will be ok on the gps. Would have loved it to work 100 % out of the box but at least its given me a quick lesson in how it works lol

I bought one a week or so ago, have had issues with the gps part of the system, I feel like the boat is losing the gps signal , so when following auto pilot prompts it strugggles to pick up a strong signal and can zigzag to a waypoint instead of going directly to it. I re calibrated it and it worked better, i researched it a bit online and suggestions are leaving it to sync to satelites for a 5 minutes or so in the edge of the lake and recalibrating. Im fishing a 3 day session from tommorow so will try to sort it out at the lake. Bit disapointed But in reality it still will be a fun addition and i believe once a firmware update sorts this out or i in fact manage it myself it will be an awesome bit of kit.
At present the sonar still works fine but the area scan and gps seem a little out. I will test it during this session and reckon it will be working fine once i get some time to work it out
. I havent really had enough time to get to grips with it yet but i spent an under an hour at the lake yesterday and had it working pretty well by the end of it , but phone battery stopped play lol.
If anyone knows of any other hints or tips to get them sorted please let me know as im not on facebook so cant access the information on there.

I have spoken to them a lot via email , and have now had the bait boat delivered. It cost what it says on the website there is no more to pay.
customs have had the parcel and have cleared it, after some payment from the courier. I would say this is DDP delivered Duty Paid. The seller says in an email that import duties are covered under the contract they have with the courier and any import charges if charged to me they will pay. If i ordered from them again i would expect it to be exactly the same, although i think i would email them first to check next time , It did make me rather anxious
The seller was open and helpful throughout the communications which was nice.
hope that helps
Cheers

I emailed them , they have told me if i was to order the boat from them
" any additional import charges are covered under the contract they have with their courier.
In the event that the customs dept requests me to pay any import charges to inform them immediately and they will reimburse me for the import expenses. "
Interesting, will up date if i do go through with an order i will update this
