thats what the program was doing he grew a saddle back pig and had it butchered down to all its parts
Usually involves fishing somewhere as well but I may have missed that part as I missed the beginning

I used to use the look what we found brand
Had a cupboard full of them at home
Pretty much disappeared now so these could be an alternative.

A lot younger and a lot more stupid in those days though lol
Before then in the 70’s we used to sleep in my cousins garden with no sleeping bags we must have only been 8 or 9
Then Jump on the bus to go to stanborough lakes with no adults I was the oldest out of all of us.
When the bailiff came round to collect day ticket money we ran and hid and when he left went back.

I remember late 80’s
I had a sleeping bag shaped like a coat with the arms and a hood the foot end had a zip across it and you could get your legs out and then a belt that held it up out of the way from going all over the floor.
I think it was a German bag from the army surplus shop.
Haven’t got a clue what happened to that….
