Thank you folks
well TBH I so happy to see my 78th Birthday I am a very lucky man I never thought I would see this day as some of you know in Feb 2021 I wasnt expected to last 2 or 3 days due to an incurable terminal Cancer diagnosis
but I have been on permanent Chemotherapy for the past three and a half years
and I refuse to die yet !
thanks to our fantastic Nurses and Doctors of the NHS I am still here severely disabled now but happy to still be above ground still fighting I wont give up and things like this really brighten my day
thanks folks xx ( mates kisses not gay ones ok)

Gerry I'm pretty sure you are in at least one of the same clubs as me. If you fancy a day out fishing and are struggling. Please let me know and I will happily come and collect you and your gear and we can fish out of the van if need be for a few hours if you wanna get out over summer. I've got a week off in Aug so let me know if that's any help to you.

yes your right I have a free lifetime membership in the famous Coln valley one but sadly my fishing days are now over my mobility is getting worse daily as the cancer is now progressing because there are no more treatment options they can give me but I refuse to die lol
