Seen a bit about this recently and was wondering if anyone had used and had any success with it?

Don't know what it would be like in carp fishing but it's great stuff for me personally.

Really noticed a difference since i started taking it.

That's the one I've used and found it beneficial

Way too expensive to put in bait though

It's been used as a dip for baits for a few years - Gary Atkin spoke about how it transformed his fishing when using it as a glub / dip with single tiger nuts.

pure stuff is v expensive & there is a lot of crap out there - I bought a jar & I am 99% sure it was just chocolate sauce. would like to try the pure stuff but am coy about finding a genuine supplier.

it's absolutely stuffed full of micronutrients.

If it tastes nice, like chocolate, it's not shilajit.., which tastes like road tar..

I think there is tons of non real stuff out there, and the real stuff is questionable whether anyone but an extreme athlete might benefit. For day to day typical lethargic living it doesn't have any benefit except make you poorer..

I have been using it in cycles for around a year or just over.

Certainly has made a differance to me and i know of several other friends who have used it and found it to be of benefit. The guy who recommended it to me initially is a triathlete, and I'm a couch potato, when i had a catch up with him, we both had pretty similar effects.

Mental alertness, improved concentration, better energy levels, increased testosterone levels (although not tested).

I do 12 week cycles and when i cycle off it its takes a few weeks to notice any drop off.

Yes it tastes horrible, and i have stuck to the one i linked and agree on its a bit of a mine field in terms of quality. My friend use's powdered capsules and is saying they are better for hi, due to taste. I take mine every morning with around 500ml of water, just stick under tongue and let it dissolve,

Will have to give it a try on some hookbaits and see how i get on when i next get out.

Having read this thread I decided to try some, bought it the other day and I've used it twice (forgot to take it this morning!)

It seemed to help me at work, better concentration.
Also at the gym on Friday I was faster on the cross trainer at a greater resistance. Maybe it's all in my mind, a placebo!? Even so, if I'm working better and training harder I'll keep buying it

Here's the link to the product on Amazon, cost £20 but that lasts for 2 months

LINKY POO™ https://amzn.to/4eUIqHc

I does taste a bit like tar, or molasses. I quite like that though!

I'm a Marmite hater, but this stuff is OK

They suggest stirring it into a warm drink, I have had it in tea....but I am also happy to just let the blob dissolve in my mouth (they say a pea sized blob a day)

Your experience literally mirrors mine. Same product as well.

Do you use the wooden scoop then send with? or have you found anything else.

I find the wooden scoop just gets a mess over time.

Taste is unique but you get used to it pretty fast imo.

Never heard of this stuff, it's piqued my interest. I've looked at that Ebay link but can't see what dose of minerals it contains from the pics.
For those who use it, does if come with any info regards composition dose/percentages?
I take vit/min supplements daily so I'm concerned re rec daily limits, hence the Q.

I haven't used the wooden micro lolly sticks, no! I thought they would stain and be a pain to look after if sticky so I just use the top of my teaspoon to scrap a bit out
I started cautiously in case it gave me stomach upset / diarrhoea or something! I had a quick google to see any side effects so I knew what to 'listen for' if my body told me something was amiss.
Day 1 Felt OK (in fact good) so had more an hour or so later.
Day 2 took a bit more (but still not pea sized) and licked that silver sealant lid clean (at that price I can't afford to waste it )
Day 3 missed
Day 4 pea sized lump

@Vossy1
I'll see if the box/jar has info and send pics via 'FB Massager'

It's incredible stuff.

I purchased some whilst I was in Brazil after reading this thread. £20 it was worth a punt.

I got back on Tuesday. It was waiting for me. My London flight was cancelled, i was rerouted to Sao Paulo. Missed my connection in Amsterdam. It took me thirty six hours to get back. It normally takes me twelve hours and even then I am absolutely smashed. I was so totally ruined. Jet-lagged to ****, far more than usual. Normally it takes me two days to recover. I had to work on Wednesday. I took a massive chug of this stuff in a cup of coffee....

Jeez. It's like legal uppers.

As a child of the rave generation, I have tested many stimulatory drugs. Many times over. This gear has a real kick. I worked all day Wednesday. Whistling. This stuff cured extreme jet-lag. I ended up taking two big serving brass spoon fulls. Made me feel amazing, when normally I would have been dying. Absolutely dying. I was instantly sold.

I'm already hooked. The one I ordered came with no seal. The tar like substance was all around the thread. Good old Amazon. Used it for five days and returned it after ordering a much bigger jar. Good gear as well.

Thank you for the heads up. I am a totally sceptical person now. I'd seen so much about this stuff over the past year. But I need to hear from people I know to some degree before I believe stuff these days. This stuff 100% works. It's like having five expressos at once, but lasts for hours on end.

I'm intrigued to try this but worried about random drug testing at work. We get tested for Alcohol, Amphetamines, Cocaine, Opiates, does anyone know if this would fail any of those tests? Tia.

It's all natural and totally legal. It's extracted from the ground similar to oil. It comes from herbs. No side effects whatsoever. Its 5am, I've been awake for an hour. Just had first dollop in a frothy coffee. After 3/4 of the mug I can feel the effects. It's not the coffee either. It works for sure.

I've just been reading about this and ordered a jar - it can be helpful for Chronic fatigue according to some texts.

I struggle every now and again with a strange fatigue/malaise - had literally dozens of various tests and whilst we know something is wrong, the docs can't work it out other than "possible chronic/post viral fatigue".

I was meant to be fishing this week but I canned it - will be interesting to see if this helps.... normally I'm sceptical of this sort of thing but reading some of the honest comments from real guys here, its worth a try.

Any more thoughts on it in a bait also?

I tried the stuff in the link above, it was on offer at the time yesterday.

It just arrived, good ol amazon.

I've been trying to link the smell.... it reminds me of treated wood from a specific adventure playground when I was a kid in the early 80's. Weird pressure wood treated creosote type whiff. Not sure about it on a hookbait!

I'm about to give it a try - the spoon it comes with is tiny. Fingers crossed it has a good crack at this chronic fatigue - I've got some days off coming up still earmarked for some fishing,

Just a feeling of wellbeing is the best way to describe it. On a normal day to day basis it's helping me with working long hours.

What really shocked me was it totally taking away extreme jet-lag. Nothing sorts that out normally for me apart from time and sleep. This stuff totally alleviated it and I had it far worse than normal.

I've never taken anything whatsoever that is legal that had such a big effect. I take no medication wherever possible. If I have a headache I'd rather ride it out than pop a pill. It would seem to have absolutely zero side effects. I've exceeded the recommend dose as well.

Not related and no obvious benefit that you feel as such but I have been using “Celtic salt” for the last 6 months which has 82 vital minerals so very good for you and makes food taste so good.......

Then it would be worth the price tag

Choices. I would just take a quality multivitamin and a fish oil tablet

I have trained for many years and know a lot of people who have had most things. One of the best things I have ever taken are amino acids with a high mg. I could seriously feel the impact of these when I did weights regular also help you to get the real benefits out of your nutrition / food and that is a game changer

Solgar multi vitamins take some beating and Zipvit for fish oils, look at mg. quantities.

I have an image in my head of all these scruffy Afghans putting any kind of dust into tubs or bagging it up and selling it on and making a fortune

How does it react to lots of caffeine in your system too, do they play nice together or bring on any anxiety?

I've got a reasonably good 'balance' with my caffeine intake but always up for trying something new and intrigued by this.

AG1 is meant to be pretty good, but like ALL of these 'supplements', if you are lacking in what you actually eat, or are eating a poor balance, you may notice some effect. Whether it is sustainable long term is a good question, as these are all pretty poor vfm.

Bear in mind, the ONLY reason for these products existing is to move money from your hand to others, nothing else matters, including health.

Real food provides all of the nutrients the body needs, and avoiding all factory manufactured 'food' type products that all supermarkets are rammed with will do more for a feeling of wellbeing than any supplement.

Spot on about eating correctly

I would view them as supplements to ensure you get everything your body needs. I would ditch the Afghan dust though

What you eat and take is EVERYTHING, a bloke once told me years ago in the gym, what you eat is 80% of the game. Feed the machine correctly, good input = good output

I agree with the last few comments, you should get all of your required nutrients etc through a balanced diet.
I've not tried it and probably won't, but Isn't this Shilajit stuff not meant to be a part of your normal diet, but to give you a legal boost above your normal wellbeing?
Maybe it's just a placebo, or maybe it does affect some but not others?
I'm curious but probably not curious enough to try it, for a start which of the numerous supplies would you get it from?

By pretty good, I mean at an attempt to supply a broad scope of nutrients, mineral and vitamins, in a package that is easily utilised by who they consider to be their customer base / intended market. Whether this suits even a few percent is another matter, as the balance will be incorrect, we all differ inside, massively. Additionally, I would question whether it is optimal to ingest such an un natural diet. Nature has packaged protein, fat, fibre, etc to perfection, and that doesn't come wrapped in plastic.

As we seem to be on the subject, the 'Zoe' program is the only 'health product' I have ever been confident enough in to take out an active plan, and while it confirmed a majority of my suspicions, it did reveal some really interesting facts, good and not so good, which I have implemented, such as rice being really bad for me, brown and white, so I now avoid it completely. This scientific approach to individual nutrition carries far more credence than any heavily promoted product, especially those aimed at the convenience market like AG, Huel etc.

Absolutely true re influencers..
