Ive had a Fox and sabre one for years and never given them mush of a second thought. My syndicate went to using its own landing and fish care kit this year and got some of the Korda floating weigh slings and i must say i am really impressed with them. Great material and as others have said they need to drain really quickly when you lift them out of water, which the Korda one does too.

Book appears to be of a high quality in terms of materials used etc.

I have only read the foreword, introduction, first chapter and about half the second one (second chapter is huge). So far its been a good read... very much similar to his wording and approach used in his youtube channel if you get what i mean. Not extremely detailed or scientific yet, however I am guessing that is about to come.

The Korda ones are great but they are not a fully water proof one. More splash proof i would say.

I have the XXL and they were huge on me already and also very long in the leg. Lost a load of timber this year so will be in the market for some new ones myself at some point, most likely will go back to the Korda ones.

I have to weigh fish for lake rules, same as vossy as well in that if it was a bigger one i will always be happy to go and have a look how it has progressed over the years from previous pictures etc.

But when i fish local day tickets I no longer take my scales, anything under 20 doesn't even get pictures unless its a stunner. No need too as i have enough of a album already

I think its a tall ask to tick every box on that list TBH especially in the northwest. Yes there are some of these lakes about but very few and far between and almost all are dead mans shoes to get into.

I think once you get past the RH syndicates which do have a open waiting lists, you are better to get into PA or Wheelock and do the rounds on there... you will generally meet people who can are on the better syndicates.

If you are on any decent waters always worth asking about with other members as well as recommendation's will always get doors opened a lot easier then cold approaches.

Pennington Flash could be the one if you are up for a challenge.

Still chucks up some decent fish but is a battle of a water to fish.

Great for both parties if it suits them 👏👏

He is a serious angler who catches the one he wants no matter where he goes and has an album most would dream of. The pictures on that instagram post testify to that.
