I don't know about the Solar stuff, but I got an Aqua Black Series Roving Rucksack and cut the shoulder straps off.

Tons of space, decent zips and rigid 👍

I don't use a flash. I've got my phone on a tripod in the centre, so pointing straight at my beak.

Then 2 LED lights on full at 45 degrees angles - one either side pointing at me

I turn everything on and start to record a video from the minute the fish is on the mat to going back into the lake which is about 2 minutes.

Tripod I've got is this one

Plasterers LED lamps are these.

Thanks to the tips and a bit of practice, I've got them pretty good now and chuffed with how they are coming out. So thanks for the tips 👍👍

Thanks, saved me and my OCD a few quid 👍

I used it again last weekend and again had a snap off, it just seems so brittle with no room for error. Very different to what I had loaded up last year. So maybe these new spools are from a dodgy batch.

Anyway I've stripped it off 6 spools and have some GR60 soaking which will be going on before this weekends adventure.

I can think of better ways to waste 80 quid 😂😂

Anyone got one, is it worth the money and how does it cope when full with 5 rods with pits and 50mm eyes?

YAC have some of their stuff but this isn't advertised so don't have somewhere to take a look

Cheers

I was half way through a decent bottle of red by then, so I was probably standing a bit wonky 😂😂

I've felt the cold on my last couple of trips, so the time has come to spend on a proper bag. Is the Fox Ventec and trakker 365 the best choices out there?

They look almost identical in the vids, but I do shuffle around a lot so like the idea of two straps rather than the usual one and not a fleece inner to get twisted up in.

Edit: going back to a bed chair from the solar SS this year has been so much better too, the versatility of changing bags based on climate has been great and much lighter to lug around 👍
