So, like a lot of us, I have the spontaneous idea to spend money that won't go away, of which the idea is to replace all my luggage.
Last few years I have bought here and there and now I'm all mix and match which is great functionally but not pleasing to my eye.

So I have watched plenty of youtube videos, but I only really value real-life feedback from people out there on the bank with it.

Narrowed down the options to:
- Aqua black series
- Korda compac dark kamo
- Speero black camo

Open to other options but the above have enough options in the range to cover most basis. Rod holdall is a must, sick of using a quiver with individual sleeves, takes me longer to get set up than a holdall would

Korda stuff is well thought out and rugged. Careful with sizing on the rod holdalls.

I have a fair bit of Aqua stuff and it's decent. Their Tristar holdall is probably my favourite of any brand and I have had a few.

Not got too much Speero stuff but what I do have is alright.

New luggage from Essex firm Carp Life....run by the same people as a lake I used to fish, is decent supposedly (I don't have any), so worth a look as an alternative to the big brands.

Same here sick of sleeves when fishing other day I had 4 sleeves and ta quiver in a pile plus l/net sleeve a floatation sleeve on the floor what a mess the time it takes to set a pack up so I am getting the Korda sleeve
speero top quality but everything is so big a bulky
Aqua are living in the past quality not the same
TA should have brought out a 3 rod sleeve years ago
I've had all the above over the years
Korda dark camo is good quality zips glide along I've just bought there carryall not cheap I think they might be your best option tbh

May be an unpopular opinion but the best rod holdalls I have owned have been from Sonik. Very well made, well padded, good quality zips and more compact than many other brands I've tried. I can't vouch for the rest of the luggage as I don't have any (I use a mish mash of brands depending on what I need and what I see as the best deal available at the time of needing) but the rod holdalls have been faultless for me

I had a full set up of the Aqua black series and really like it, then a few years ago won a raffle for a full set of the Korda Compac stuff... can honestly say the Korda stuff is better made and as others have said its well thought out.

Recently upgraded the 12ft 5 rod holdall to a 13ft rod holdall as i have 12'6 rods and 5 were a bit tight in the 12 ft. This time got it in dark and have been happy with it so far.

That's interesting Korda seems to be better quality than the Aqua gear.

In summer, I take 6 rods (3 main, floater, marker and spod) so was hoping to a 5 rod holdall + 1 in a separate sleeve.

I'll certainly check out some of the other suggestions too but keep them coming!

There's others better than aqua they live off Chris manifolds name the zip pullers came off and the lining on 2 roving ruckbags came away and the same on a carryall speero is far better quality to but as I said big bulky

Same with the esp QuickDraw rucksack I have, I want a matching rod bag but they only do quiver style rod bags.

My brother in law has the Korda dark camo rucksack and rod bag well made nice bit of kit

I have over time gone over completely to speero camo . Can't recommend it highly enough.

I would stay away from aqua, got two bags and now a rucksack all with broken zips

Think the general consensus seems to be dark kamo is the best of the bunch, it's a shame about Aqua cause I like the minimalistic design and it looks sleek but I don't want it falling apart.

Seems a lot of us got drawn into the quiver and sleeves idea but in practice it's crap. Rod sleeves scattered all over, I forget which is my fishing rods and which is marker too. Even the elasticated top and bottom idea is rubbish for same reason, straps scattered everywhere with the addition risk of damage.

One zip and access to all rods it is

Yep, exactly this. All over the place. This is a good thread as I'm now contemplating replacing my (old skool) Chubb quiver system with a holdall. Hate to say it, but Korda looking strong and in pole position atm.

No-one makes a good rod holdall these days. The Chub 3 and 5 star holdalls were the best back in the day.

I'll pop down tackle shop and get my hands on some holdalls, the aesthetic desire though plays a part cause I want everything matching. If I have to sit blanking, I wanna look at my gear pleasingly while I do!

Ive got just about everything speero make and love the stuff. Top quality and not stupidly priced.

I use a trakker rod hold-all for my rods and single sleeves for my marker and spod rods, I did buy have the 5 rod bag before but how anyone can fit 5 rods into one of them is beyond me

I've had my Korda luggage for about 3 years now, not a single problem with any of it,12'6 rods fit in the 12ft holdall too which is a bonus

Thinking Anglers luggage is very good quality.

Strange as over the last few years I have completely moved away from matching luggage as nobody does everything well. There are bits from fox, chub, speero and korum that are best in class but other pats of the range are pants. On sessions all my stuff is stashed under the bed or back of the bivvy, so I am pretty much cured. My advice would be don't compromise for a brand, get the best of what you can afford.

Yeah it's a valid point but it's a compromise I'm willing to make so long as it's good quality.

I use bits from various companies in the rest of my angling, I.e Kaizens with Emblems, Delkims on summit bankwear. But if it can all live in matching luggage, I'd be much happier.

I have an original Chub sleeve & hate it. zips up along the reel side & not the back & hard plastic bit at the top of the strap that digs into your shoulder.

wrt to luggage - I have a couple of Solar sleeves for my 10 foot rods & have been super impressed with them.

agree about ESP luggage - would love them to do a 3 rod sleeve. their quickdraw quivver is one of the best bits I have bought in years. 5 pockets with straps for anything rod / net / bankstick related. handles are a bit funny (designed for short rods) buyt my rod sleeves just slip into the outside pocket & I clip it on & use the strap for that instead.

Most of my luggage is Trakker NXG and although its not the sexiest (standard khaki for me - their new camo is designed by a 3yr old) its stood the test of time and is well designed - the range is also huuuge - so if you do want to match everything you can down to the smallest lead pouch etc.

Of particular note are their carryalls and rod sleeves - have both the compact and compact barrow carryalls and they're perfect for differing length sessions. Have a couple of 12'/ a 13' and a 10' 3 rod padded sleeves (rod bags). Again really well designed IMO; spacious protective and versatile.

If I wanted to splurge I'd have everything made to order from BAS (have a couple of baitboat bags, a bivvy and a cradle bag) but this just seems daft. Have recently been through several cooler bags (NXG / TA / Spankmonkey) and settled on the Speero Modular. Again would consider changing everything for Speero as the quality is v good but the range is a little limited and most is oversized . . .

Honourable mention goes to Drennan Specialist - all my barbel luggage is from the Specialist range from rucksacks to triple slings to double /single sleeves / unhooking mats even a keepnet bag! Well made, functional and with decent zips - the rucksacks are particularly comfortable . .

You're wrong.... Had my Korda luggage a few years now and it's top notch, but so is my Nash scope and Subterfuge luggage. Infact id say its a slight step up in features and build.

I can't agree with you more drennan specialist 40 ltr rucksack is without doubt the most comfortable rucksack I've owned the only one that comes close is the esp again drennan and I've had a lot over the last 40 years carp fishing being a luggage addict and the most uncomfortable is the most expensive Cotswold Aquarius rucksacks the mk3 roamer is terrible

i have a real mix and match of luggage, i wish it was all matching but cant justify the spending of money when it already does the job well.

I use a trakker 3 12ft rod sleeve
Thinking Anglers Rucksack and Carryall (Tackle stuff in the fist, cookware & kettle etc in the second.

That's pretty much it. No problems with any of it. I sometimes wish that my rucksack was a little bigger but i manage to get all that i need into it

Dutchy army rucksack plenty big enough for 5 to 10 hours sessions for me.

Best rucksack / carrryall ever had.

I always used Nash luggage with no complaints. Me being me it annoyed me that My RT7 was in Fox camolite gear compared to the rest so took the plunge and converted everything to the Fox camolite range. I must add I do not like Fox at all from past experience and the pattern on the luggage isnt that nice to look at

That being said I really rate their range. All the luggage that I have bought are well thought out, very well padded and more importantly the heavy duty zips on them is far superior than anything Nash I owned before. Still dont like Fox as a brand but very happy with their luggage range. They really have a bag for everything you could possibly take

Trakker NXG can be picked up for a good price too, I've got the XL pva pouch I think it is and its very good.

Just getting my current set of shifts out the way and I'm gonna head to angling direct as they will have most out on display.

I looked and handled most options at the Big One show and it was head and shoulders above the rest for quality and practicality.

Agree - I'd be looking at CarpLife. Went to the Big One looking to pick up Korda but handled the CL stuff and ended up with the 5 rod holdall and rucksack. Can't pledge for longevity but certainly feels cracking quality.

Not sure what's so hard to understand. Wanted my luggage to match this was the only way. Also only fox gear I own. Having in thet past have fox reels that broke looking at them and clothes that shrink after the first wash I will stick with my original post by saying fox is a sh*t brand in general. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion 👍 Also the reason I didn't buy a frontier xd just can't trust it even though the size is perfect and I love the extension option.

I have got, and have had bits from loads of different manufacturers. Like most I suppose I am always trying to improve what I have. Sometimes it's expensive, sometimes not. My criteria is; will it be better at the job I want it to do, than what I currently have. I have bought a few lemons over the years. Sometimes on supposedly good recommendations.

The mistake you made was buying reels from a company that doesn't make reels, they brass plate *****.

Because some of us are wired up that way, same reason you have matching cushions on a sofa etc. Any cushion would do but matching ones make it that bit more pleasing to the eye.

Plus, its each to their own, spending money how they see fit.

I'd struggle buying all from one brand as I'd be surprised if (1 brand) made every item that suited my needs if that makes sense,not many companies make a comfy rucksacks for an example.

If we were all the same it would be a bit boring.
And no my 2,2 seater sofas don't match 😊

Yeah good way of putting it, because I want rid of the quiver and sleeves it's an opportunity to go fully matching. I've ordered a load of Dark Kamo and once sorted I'm than gonna order the finishing touches, i.e which compacs I actually need etc. Ordered the bivvy wrap in dark kamo for the tempest too, just cause

Speero top quality and well made but I had it everything is to big bulky they need to make a carryall the size of there cool bag and a 3 rod slim sleeve and a 35ltr rucksack

No left as standard and for my minimal gear it works very well.

Nice thing is you can buy matching pouches and put on the front.
