Muck boots for me all day. Easy to jump into for a run, depending model very warm, extremely comfortable and full waterproof.

I sold my Solar SP -C MK 2 Wideboy sleep system as it started to sag even though one of the selling points is it wont and it was a pain to lug around due to size and weight.

Bought the standard solar Worldwide sleep system which was released this year. It comes with a 50mm mattress and I added another 75mm memory foam mattress I bought of ebay for £40 (cut it to size myself and slots under the bottom cover). Most comfortable bed I have ever had. It still weights good 6kg less then the SP - C and it closes with the extra mattress attached. Well worth doing imo

Something like the below. Cheap and works really well.

Probably not what you are after but you can buy the fox Edges hook retainers. I think 3 is £8 or something and they work great. It is compact and has a foam cover to stop any movement and prevent damaging the points. Great for ready made hooks for quick swapping

Alternatively you can just buy the Korda hook storage box which is pretty nifty and even comes with a built in magnifying glass to make sure the point is straight etc.

I can't be arsed to go through the hassle of returning it 😂 probably cost more in diesel to go post office.

I ended up buying a £12 one on amazon as it had better reviews. Like yours Belch the top doesn't lock down but at least it's separate to blades so no chance of cutting yourself. Decent size and it does at least have a charging light.

Probably won't last very long and with the faff of taking the top off and then the splash guard to fill probably quicker to just use the krusha 😂.

O well was worth a punt and brings me back to the original question of a direct replacement to the OMC variant which this clearly isn't.

It's not that it's sitting outside doing bait having to have a cable and battery pack etc with me. Hardly makes it portable or makes it like for like to the Bait mait etc.

Thanks anyways bought the amazon one to give a try not sure why my korda krusha did the job fine 😂

Lol I do not think you can go wrong with any of the big named brands in all honesty. Just depends what features you are more interested in as some do better in certain categories. Also budget comes in to play.

For me I just went with what I know for ease of use and very happy with my purchase.
