I've never set any new year resolutions or any fishing related plans for at least 15 years but
I'm going to make the most of it and go more this year and catch my first fish from a certain water

This year I've got a big baiting up mission planned for the place I'm on right now and hopefully bagging one of the big two in the process, then, if either of the other two tickets I'm in-line to get tickets for (been told they're both nailed on certs) I'll be flittering between both - these two are going to be the tricky waters at either end of the size of water scale, one of which is a very historical water I've been wanting to fish since the 90's until malevolent forces got up to some rather unsavoury shenanigans.

My plans are getting onto my new syndicate which I will be fishing along side my other one, I do have a couple 5 day trips to other places around the country to look forward to aswell. I was going to plan a France trip but due to covid we decided to put that back to 2022 just incase.

I'd planned to retire early this year but with the lockdown I did another year, so the plan was changed to March 2021 looks like that's going to go up in smoke

My plans are to have a 30 plus mirror from my local canal,already done it with a 32lb common in may 2019 now I'm after a mirror from 13/14 miles of canal between locks I know they are there as I know a bait maker from my area he's old school carper fished with few famous ppl like rob maylin,Steve Alcott etc he put me on to the canal by me.
Because I used to fish the town stretch but too dodgy had them too 26.9 out of that stretch but seen 30 plus in there and canal also featured in a canal carping book.

My wish is for everyone to stay healthy and my plan is for my bussines to get back on track that it was in 2019 because this year was trash for work. Hope for people to keep sane and positive after this hard year.
Now for fishing i plan to keep fishing the lake i mostly fished in late 2019 and 2020. Also to try to make time for a huge lake that requires alot of work and effort its massive. To finally find a bivvy that suits me and stop selling and buying so much gear( i think i finally narrowed it all down). Also i would love to get into videography have a great camera take great photos i would love to do video as well.
Also it would be good to catch a carp over 50lb the biggest one i caught was 49 lb.
Really cheering for 2021 to be q good year.

Be allowed to cross the border and get to my syndicate and put some time into it and hopefully bank a few of the gems in there. Beiglng greedy another Ashmead carp would be lovely, a mirror this time. A charity event I've been involved with was cancelled this year so hope that goes ahead and can help out with raising some funds for that

Hopefully a few more overnighters this year with the kids getting slightly older. To be honest if I can get out for even a few hours fishing once a week I'll be more than happy
Hope to do the motorcycle tours that were cancelled.

Let's stick to fishing plans. 2 years ago i had the worst idea ever, and that was one season on particles only. Just to keep it interesting i thought. After 3 months suffering i went back to my old ways.
Since i never learn, the coming season will be boilies only. I think this one will work out just fine:P

My plan is to take my grandson fishing again. I took him a few times over the summer and he loved it. He is only three and a half but always asks about going again when we speak on face time.

a list that could go on rather alot!
1) Pray for normality!
2) Introduce a few new stock to my lake
3) Keep those dam otters out
4) Wish to see my friends again without restrictions
5) Get back out on track with the racebike
6) Hope that the two cancelled Rammstein Gigs go ahead
7) Start and finish my new koi pond
8) Finish house renovations
think that's enough to start off with

Caught a nice canal pike on a lure today at last light with snow on the bank so that's one thing ticked off. Always liked a good snow capture photo
