Dont buy another bivvy, do this instead
I now use a Titan Hide XL camo pro for all my UK fishing, I have had an Armo MKII and the standard Titan.
I have been using a JRC Cocoon 2G Universal porch for the last 10 years, as an extension to my one man bivvy when fishing in France for the week.
This is absolutely perfect for me, and gives about a metre in extra room infront, its as wide as my Titan Hide and the best bit, its 6 foot tall, so you can stand up and change out of wet clothes etc.
There are several vids on you tube, a must watch

Hello all,
I used to fish a syndicate called Park Fisheries, about 2015 - 2019 which changed its name to Birchfield, I think.
Have been trying to find out if they are still going and how I would make contact to rejoin?
The guy who ran it was called Mark.
I have been down there several times and never found anyone fishing, which is strange.
Also,
I fished Eridge Park about the same time 2015 -2019, is this still going and how would I make contact with them?
I know Joe has passed away.
I remeber meeting Karlos at Park Fisheries, he is a moderator on here.
Any info would be appreciated

Search for Atropa Atrotubes
Have been using one of these for more than 10 years.
They a god send when fishing large waters, from a boat as they give you are permanent marker.
You have to deploy them from the boat, so once you have found your spot, you can set them up depending on depth by adding sections to get the right depth, so the extendable top section will show above the water.
You will need buy or make at least a pound weight to connect it to.
The poles then connect to to this by means of a split ring, so it hinges at the bottom.
When a fish runs with your line, the pole leans over and the line just runs off it.
It is also a good indication the fish are feeding on you spot as they seem to like to crash into it, causing the marker pole to move around, fun to watch.
Not sure you need the illuminated type, did play with an LED bulb, but seemed a bit pointless as you can see it with your headtorch when going out in the boat.
One word of warning, they do like to bend if the get too hot, if they are not stored fully supported and out of the sun, they will distort.
This doesn't make them unuseable, it just annoying the they are not straight, maybe my OCD (obsesive curve disorder)

Have been using a diesel heater for several years, often when we go abroad early or late in the year.
An absolute excellent piece of kit.
I have an exhaust about 1.5 meters long and have 2 silencers in it, this quitens the exhaust noise and takes the noise that far away, so doesn't annoy.
The air intake and exhaust deal with the fumes, the hot air blown out is clean warmed air and no fumes or smell.
If i could get the picture to work, this would show you how i use it.

As Belch said
Wychwood Tactical X Compact - 6.5kgs
Tacticals are quite 'stiff' and need a SIM IME . . .however if its only overnighters you will save weight without - use mine with a Helium 3.8 which is only another 750g
Have had both for several years, superb, light and comfortable.
