Thread: Who loves being out in the rain

Due to the Mrs making plans for me over the weekend, decided to finish work early and get 5 hrs or so in yesterday. Got drenched through packing up at 9.30 along with the long walk back to the car.
When I got back in the house she did not say a word, the look on my face and dripping clothing was enough.
No problem drying the some of the gear off in the kitchen though🤔, the rest in the shed

If I am using braided leader I prefer the Mahin knot for longer chucks. If I am using a Fluoro leader for average distances then I prefer the Albright knot. Tend not to use to long a Fluoro leader especially has it's not needed for the distances required. Just the shape of the knots when pulled down for me.
Each to their own.

Have you tried baiting on to a swivel on the shank of the hook and hook bead rather than on an hair.
The rotation of the swivel may reduce the spinning of the double bait.
Has mentioned try a single bait.
Back in the day of match fishing we used to suffer a lot of this fishing double maggot. To get past this we fished a micro swivel on the end of the main line and joining the hook link to the other end of the swivel.

I have bud. That's where I got the approx 3.25 TC.
Other websites show a 2.75 model.
Just wondering if the 2.75 will have it written on and because the 3.25 is approximate, it does not have it stated on them for this reason.

Think I might go ICE washers myself. Tbf they are only to go in the reels for my small water setup.
Will not be used as often has my distance setup.
