I had the Quest 2 man, and was happy with it's quality albeit a little on the small side.

I certainly like the prices even the Skull cap is only going to be £55 to £65
and the groundsheet is not an add extra cost as its included

I think there are only 2 shelters that you can compare thats the Nash Hide XL and the Trakker Tempest 100T
and of the 3 its the only one that you dont have to spend over a £100 extra to bring it up to the same specs as the Quest
IE buying a groundsheet and a zip on front

Yes mate 10,000 is more than enough. To be waterproof I think it has to be 1000HH or something like that.
10,000 means something like it can hold 10mm volume of water ontop of the material which would never happen Unless you let it pool up from putting it up wrong.

the world seems to have gone mad for these hub shelters, i fish with my mate who uses the traker mk2 and i use a simple 2 rib bivvy , and its got more room and we both think just as usefull

It goes up nice and quick, like the zip in groundsheet, overall a nice bivvy. Only thing to note is that the door height (measured vertically with the door rolled) up is 120cm and 130cm with it rolled down

Mine has just arrived this morning and I put it up in my back garden... height seems fine to me and sitting on my fox flatliter there's no issues with door height effecting the view.I'm 6'4" and it feels plenty tall enough

All these add on extras. The Tempest is a great product. Like I have said a million times before. I love my V1 brolly.
I have been looking at the 100T to replace it but with all the extras it's just a bliming p#ss take.
I just can't justify that amount on a brolly system these days.
I think I will be looking at the new Wychwood brolly system this year at half the price.

I think Trakker has lost the plot with these and I just cant be arsed to try and figure it all out. For that reason alone If i wss looking to buy I would rather buy the Cyprinus or Quest versions.

I've got a quest brolly system it was ace at first 3 years down the line it leaks like a veggie strainer lol Reckon these are much better ?

I bought the 100T last year and was very impressed with the setup speed. Its outrageous. And great for overnighters. Also excellent cover with no add ons.
However, where I really agree with you is the add ons. Start
Putting on skull cap wraps and infill panels you might as well buy a pramhood. Now they have utility fronts and wraps.
I will stick to my two man Cayman for that. Goes up in seconds.

i have the bloxx 2G compact and it fits in all the tight swims on my syndicate its only got a slightly bigger foot print than the atom it replaced. but it has more useable space and better ventilation with a bit of head room on top

Agreed ... i have tempest brolly and 1&2man Caymans and 1&2man armos ... I still prefer the pramhoods

Lets hope the quality is better than the smaller one, i had one and it was dire, went back for a refund. Now got the Cyprinus Typhoon MH and am very pleased with, the build quality is much better than the Quest i had, and feel it was cheap for a reason. Also i felt that the angle of the sloped front panel was too steep.

Just got one of this this week over the lake now and to be honest not to happy with it the dimension he states ain't correct my MK2 fox flatliner is touching the material either end he says it's 280 cm wide defiantly ain't that wide and as deep as he states either . The 2 caps the 2 top poles slot into puts a lot of strain on the stitching can't see it lasting long and the 2 storm poles I got with it the threads were no good in them one would only screw on a few turns on to the storm cap them lock up tight the other one would screw on a couple of mm and jam tried another set of storm poles and their fine . Gonna be taking the 30 day money back guarantee and getting a refund as don't want another one it's a same it weren't wider and deeper And different design on where the 2 top poles of in would be much better if it was made 40cm wider , 40cm deeper and I find the zip in front is angled to much which causes to lose space at the front
