i use to fish all winter years ago and i found a thin layer of that crap thin carpet to stop the ground cold and a 2 meter peice of bubble wrap inbetween the inner and outer skin, was the best option, these rolled into the bivvy bag and didnt weigh anything

lancashire, it was a family member looking at buying land with the sole aim to make a fishery- due to all the local lakes and clubs brimming with people, thinking there might be a possible good longterm investment, but from what i hear, alot of fisherys dont get the returns they wished for, and alot of the ones that are quids in, was dug on lands already owned by farming familys , so much less outlay
