You’re probably talking a few minutes of being on and not pointed out into the lake. I don’t see the problem.

Longchuck breaks at its stated breaking strain approximately so it depends on your lake, i.e. weed, snags etc.. and also how far you need to cast?

I stopped using Bank tackle years ago as their prices have risen with their popularity.
Most terminal gear is available on Temu for a fraction of the cost.

I tried the sbx & really didn’t think much of it, very thick & didn’t sink that quickly. Much prefer the Korda sub braid or the original nash bullet.

That is a decent price but that’s not what they charge, 10 x 10oz are £25.19 so again, not too dissimilar from the big brands.

Out of interest, why would anyone buy these as they’re pretty much the same price as top brands?

I’d use their built in gps & a deeper with range extender for best performance.
I have the pro version & the sonar is good enough (for me) as long as the lake is 4ft+, it really struggles any shallower as do a few sonars.
The built in gps is decent and within a few feet every time in my experience.
