The time has come to renew the wardrobe of fishing trousers!
Been looking at the Korda Original Kombats and Heavy Joggers, but I'm not sure about the carp-tax!
Anyone have any recommendations for eBay or Amazon?
Also, I normally wear a light material trouser. Do you think joggers would be more comfortable in the summer?

My Craghopper Kiwis had a hole in the cargo pocket so I splurged on some Korda Kombats as an impulse purchase - and they're actually pretty good. Inner zipped hip pocket is handy for keys / vaper when bending down etc (without losing stuff) and cargo pockets on each leg are handy for margin baiting missions when filled with 10mm boilies etc . . . .Trousers are lightweight / material is decent and dries quickly unlike heavier jogger material etc. Like all Korda gear you need to size up from your normal . . .

I have loads of them cargo pants which you can zip off at the knee to make shorts. Ideal for British summers.

craghopper kiwis

I have two both Craghopper Kiwi trousers one lined for winter use. Had them both for years. Bit baggy for today's more tailored look. But still going strong.

There not cheap but the best cargo fishing pants ive found are fjallraven. Its all i wear on a daily basis as well even when im not fishing. Got a few pairs.

I picked up some fairly cheap khaki cargos from m&m direct. Lightweight, water resistant material. Draw cuffs on legs and waist. Really comfy. In fact just ordered the same design in shorts. Ideal trouser for spring/summer fishing. In winter with long johns underneath they're good too. Prefer my salopettes though when it's too cold.

Same , been wearing them for a few years now ,have several pairs but like the g1000 fabric ones best.

Personally wear joggers in the colder months where they are definitely warmer than cargo trousers. Then switch to cargo ones for early summer into autumn. Used to wear Craghoppers like a few here but found they weren't lasting long and stitching going on seams.
For joggers I wear Kumu which have been great quality and then revolution race for cargo which sit well between cheaper brands and then the top end like Fjallraven.

Have a gander at jack pyke hybrid technical trousers .
They're what I use and are great , stretchy where needed and heavy duty ripstop on the knees and bum .

I bought a pair of those Aldi's were selling a little while back for about £12, I did not think they would be up to much, but they were that good I went out and bought a second pair and since then, I have never took them off even as my casual daily wear clobber even on a night down town etc

I don't know what they are made off, probably something similar to pertex, but the fabric is extremely light, you hardly know that you are wearing them, I thought they would be cold, but they proved me wrong, even in a cold wind, they are windproof and retain the warmth. And extremely fast drying, and even after a weeks wear, don't start to smell.

But, if I have any reservations about them, I doubt they would be "tough" enough to be pushing through briars and hedges etc without ripping them so for places I fish like that, I will stick to my German Army Moleskin trousers

I have some Jack Pyke Weardale ones. They are pretty hard wearing and I wear them in summer and winter.
