I thought all of the range were >£350?
I couldn't spend that on a new rod from an untested brand in that area (although acknowledge Guru make decent rods). I'd be worried whether there are going to be spares available in a few years? Will they actually be any good? Etc.
They are in the same price bracket as Harrison's, Century and top end FreeSpirit but without any of the experience and reputation associated with these brands.
Also, despite getting rave reviews on social media, I think the advert for them is utter crap. Puts me off the rods tbh as it all seems a bit naff and tacky.

Look crap & cost too much, so will be very popular with the sheep. Wouldn't give Fairbrass the time of day, so certainly wouldn't give him over a grand for a set of rods. Especially ones that will be as stiff as a scaffolding pole.

Agree with you on the advert. With their following all that effort is a waste. It won't sell them any more rods. They could have just stuck a picture up of the butt cap and it would have had the same response of “all hail korda”.
Be interesting to see actual reviews of the rods once people get them. Can imagine Danny and co have been very selective over them but who knows.

There was a thread on it a couple of months ago; I found out that Ka'izen is a brand based in Japan. I don't know if they are big enough to be blank manufacturers themselves although they do do rods under their own name.

I think the Burt Kwouk advert will put a few off.
The blanks look very thick, I assume they will be fantastic, because as a aesthetics point of view i thought everyone wanted thin blanks?. I've no doubt they will be great, and sell tonnes though.

I'll stick with my Centrys thanks,could be a good time to keep the eye out on the second hand market for some people they may pick up some bargains

Why so much hate? Korda have done more for Carp Fishing than any other brand full stop.

Lead dropping ,this practice will come back and bite us all..
I well remember Dot Beeson or Beeston, and her campaign against lead shot years ago..and that didn't end well..
So yes ,Korda to some people have done the Embryo.,lutra protects thing .however the lead dropping has nullified that ,sadly....
So I take a little issue that they have done a lot for carp fishing and the corporate ,monetary machine it now has become..
As for the rods,they will sell lots and lots..
