Very sad to read in the newspapers yesterday that Screaming Reels presenter Nick Fisher has died.

The whacky Screaming Reels, C4, 90's, bit off the wall but sometimes a lot of fun, and not many mainstream fishing programmes about back then.

Yeah, it was a bit quirky from memory, RIP Nick.

Sounds as though he took his own life aged 63. What a shame.

Gutted, used to quite like that programme. Some quite odd Predator fishing stuff but was good to watch.

Yes i do remember the programme.
That's a real shame for his family.

I didn't twig it was Nick Fisher from Screaming Reels at first when I saw the original missing person report.

Another person who brought angling onto mainstream television, a bit whacky at times, but a sad loss to all, and especially his family.

Definately a bit diffrent from " Go fishing " with John Wilson was ' Screaming reels" more of a magazine type program for the Acid House generation...🤩

Oh how sad, used to love that show :(

He sure had some great fishing adventures, remember he went all over - the carribean for bone fish, eels in NZ, king fish in Aus. Was really whacky at times.

Very sad news ....He was a great presenter on a weird and wonderful show that was way ahead of its time

That did make me laugh, summed the programme up perfectly

It'd be funny to see what a younger generation angler would make of it!
