Quote: Adjustable bedchair - Fox?
I think it was Kevin Maddocks's idea in the beginning.
Throwing sticks... Nina Sansome and Cobra
Must be a ton more origins of products used today

I'd say Kevin Nash. Love him or hate him. He's bought a lot of products to the market that everyone of us has owned at some point. If not his. Some other company's copy's.
Carp sacks and weigh slings. One or two others before, granted. But he bought them to the masses.
Unhooking matts. Can't think of anyone commercially producing these before.
Oval brolly. A brolly that actually covered your bed chair.
Titan bivvy. The first free standing shelter on the market.
Retractable rods. Lots of people laughed them of as gimmicky. Kids rods. Most other tackle company's and rod manufacturers now have a range.
Sleep systems. Fist bedchairs with attached sleeping bags. Also the first company to do away with the need to have your bed as a chair by removing the adjustable wheel. Which also lead to a more comfortable sleep.
No doubt a few more. That I can't remember of the top of my head.
They really have lead the way... long live Nashys innovation.

The Rolaball Baitmaker original short or Longbase, and rolling tables - Gardener tackle.
Many bait making sessions were made more bearable with these. Still got mine. 👍

We also had Kevin to thank for the Rod Sling, with our nubrolli's inside the main compartment, with our rods on the side, etc.
You have to give it to him he has brought a lot to the market.

Creek material for Nashy early pursuit luggage, including those two and three rod holdalls,so you could keep your reel on the rod..
The Titan, first free standing bivvy i know of ,made from Slippery eel fabric ,and over wrap to fit that had a silver external lining to reflect hot days ..
( I still use Lockeys supreme stainless and external version leg,Sod pod, will see me out )
Ridgemonkey toastymaker,even I've got a NGT one ...
Chris Manifold ,for the pram hood bivvys, although Shackleton was first

Delkim worth a mention - I had the Delkim converted Optonics in the 80's and they was a complete revelation after using Herons for years.

Didn't Nash also bring out the first lead clip?

Commercially yes, not his idea though. I believe they were first produced by a French tackle manufacturer as a way to change swimfeeders. That's how they were first marketed as a convenient way to change leads. It was only later that they realised they were a good way to drop the leads if needed..😀

Shimano and the first baitrunner reel has got to be worth a mention.
Nash and the profile umbrella plus the Titan. The scope rods were laughed at, then all companies cottoned on to make them. The original optonic alarm.
The John Wilson twin tip rods.
