Can you guys recommend some good fishing trousers please. I'm a 33" leg and always struggle to find a pair to suit my leg length. Not bothered what make etc.. would just like a good fit! lol

I go fishing in cargo pants, handy with them having loads of pockets. In the summer, I have the ones that zip off at the knee to make shorts, in the winter I have thermal ones. I just get them from outdoor type shops, like Go Outdoors, Trespass, etc. Loads of different makes to suit any budget, Peter Storm for cheap ones, Brasher & Cragghoppers more expensive. Like you, I have a funny inside leg, 30" short. I always get fixed up from somewhere with a short leg, think Go Outdoors have a good range of leg sizes.

I used to buy the German ‘moleskin’ green army trousers. Once these were replaced by the less comfortable Flecktarn ones I found a couple of outlets which still sold them.
Then about 5 years ago I started doing a lot of work on the house and ended buying a couple of pair of work pants. Hardwearing with reinforced knees, plenty of pockets and a pocket on the knees for knee pads for my knackered old knees - perfect. I got cheap thin ones from Site for autumn and thicker warmer ones from Herock for winter. De Walt shorts in summer.
I’m an odd leg size -31” to be perfect and all my ‘civvie’ jeans are 32” inch inside legs, tailored to 31” by my wife so they hang just right. Fishingwise though 32” with an inch spare is fine. Most of the time I wear them with high leg boots and tucked under (bloused) as per my army days to stop them getting wet and muddy.

I use own branded New Forest Trail Trousers, available in various leg lengths per waist size
I have a lot of their own branded stuff, used a lot by country workers, see the reviews.

I know I'm not going to be very popular mentioning this but the Korda combats are actually very good. Seem like a really good fit for me and I'm a 36 so went with large. Nice soft material, loads of pockets and they dry incredibly quickly if they get wet.

Agree . . .latest Korda Kombats are great all rounders and I prefer them to Kiwis tbf . . .would say with all things Korda to size up for max comfort

Yup me 2, they take all the abuse and you don't look like a fool with a fashionable fit which most if not all fishing brand trousers seem to have. 10-20 euro's, can't fault them.

Water resistant so can get wet and not soak through unless your soaked, reinforced around the knees and arse which massivly prevents them snagging. and also the material that's green is slightly stretchy so doesn't gather and enables free movement.
They do sales and memberships etc to knock the price down to around £30-35

Same here, the genuine surplus moleskins were excelent or at least the ones with proper lables., Flecktarns copies ..... Manufactured by the original German Army contractor to original specifications
Standardised sizing, they were cut differently, skinnier legs, cheap buttons.
I ordered some black ones for work, made for people with legs like pipe cleaners.

I find a nice, heavy tweed plus four to be optimum. The shorter length saves a damp ankle section.
Coupled with a stout country brogue, you really can’t go far wrong in all weathers

Im a 34 inside leg and the only trouser i buy are fjallraven. There not cheap but they are superb quality and last for years. Ive got half a dozen pairs now as always buy a pair in the sales and my first pair i bought 8 years ago are still going strong.
