On the lookout for a nice thick warm camo hoodie. Not bothered about brand names, just want a decent quality hoodie that will keep me warm.

Any reccomendations please?

Esp one is decent, also have a look on military 1st...helikon patriot hooded fleeces very good, had them for a good few years now 👍

Fox khaki/ camo hoodie it's really warm and comfy

I have never found Hoodies very warm
UNLESS they are made from heavy duty Fleece then its a different ball game

Yeh. Got to look at what they are made of. These
80% cotton hoodie shouldn't be more than a tenner. Angling companies having it right off.

Many years ago I managed to get a full zip fleece with hood
I keep that just for fishing. And only wash it with wool stuff
So it never got thin. Much lighter and warmer than a cotton hoodie.

For warmth and thickness the Fox Sherpa is fantastic, my only criticism is the stitching on the wrists is very poor and is unravelling.

Look at a Brandit Teddy fleece. Military 1st do them.

The best fishing clothes I've ever used have always been from non fishing brands.

Recently found green adidas tracksuit bottoms (tiny logo) which are much thicker and superior quality than a fishing brand.

Berghaus fleece's are excellent

Green north face jacket with removable fleece inner for waterproof jacket

Baerskin hoodies are the same money as nash hoodie at the moment but my god, you will not find a warmer, more durable and better designed hoodie (six pockets and great hood). Peaked hood, reinforced zips, thumb holes in the sleeve, heavy weight warm wind proof material.

Keep any eye out in Aldi, they normally do a thick fleece hoodie during winter, green or black, has a sewn in neck warmer and thumb holes in the sleeves, matching joggers too, nice and warm and no carp tax. Think I paid £25/£30 for the set, not shrunk, stretched or anything.

Bearskin hoodie looks the nuts. I'm not in the market for one. But if I was, clearly they pee all over some tackle brand logo cotton hoodie

Have a look on military 1st the helikon fleece is heavier and probably warmer if that's most important to you.

I was in cosco today some cracking hoodie's. Iv also got some trousers, tracky bottoms from there also. No carp tax either

If you want a top class winter fleece have a look at the Helikon patriot, proper military gear, YKK zippers etc. around £60, available in green or camo colours

Are them BAERSKIN hoodies actually sold at their full price of £146? Or does the website have a permanent sale on? I looked yesterday and it said sale extended to 6th Jan, and today it said extended to 7th Jan!!

£146 for a hoodie is a tad on the pricey side!!

If I was in the market I would get the Helikon. I have too many hoodies at the moment. .

I blame the educational system in the '70's, rather than my I.Q. . The use of contractions is basically laziness. Which my Oxford graduate English teacher, deeply frowned upon.

Not sure they are camo though if that is a deal breaker.

Can agree with Norfolk Bob, regarding Smartcarp clothing. I got one of there larger hoodies and there oversized snood for xmas. Was really surprised at how good the quality was. Paired together, ive yet to be cold out on the bank.

really impressed and would buy from them again for sure. Proper, bigger guy sizes.

Ok so I finally gave in to the hype and bought a helikon patriot fleece. £65 I won't be buying another fleece for a long while it has everything the baerskin has except the thumb loops , and is a heavier material. Money well spent is money I don't mind spending.
