As another year draws to a close and Christmas is around the corner, what would you like Santa to bring you for next years campaign?
I'm hoping he brings me a bankside folding kitchen worktop, not the overpriced branded one but this lovely piece of kit which is more reasonably priced.

Blimey, how long would you be down on the bank for to need to take that? I honestly didn't think that anyone brought these things. No offence of course, how you spend your money is up to you but surly if you want a kitchen you should stay at home 😝

I did a couple of 5 day sessions at lakemore this year and I ended up using a small table with extendable legs to cook on and hold odds and sods. It was really handy but a bit small so its just to upgrade that.

Ariadna Majewska, so she can be my podium girl for every time I catch one and take some pictures. Nice and slim, she would fit nicely in my holdhall and not take up much room on the bedchair on a cold night.

Now we're getting more serious, although I don't think my wife would appreciate me taking that piece of 'tackle'.
From my point of view I wouldn't mind the new Lotus Emira, in seneca blue, although I have to admit the dark verdant is probably more camouflaged. Would make drives to the lake so much quicker and more enjoyable although I may need to cut down the gear somewhat to fit in.

With respect, I'm sure we all determine our own creature comforts when we go on a longer session. Nash do a version of that which isn't as good and costs 50% more. I can assure you, when I go for a week long session those compartments will be stocked with food, drinks and various eating utensils, along with a 5kg gas cylinder.

I think this is the first xmas where i dont actually need any fishing gear. I would love a call from goldsmiths to say my new watch is eventually in to collect though, been waiting over two years 🤞

I've put a request in for some new reels as my Onyxs got covered in mud last trip and now sound like a box of spanners. The Mrs is umming and arring but i am managing to convince her its essential they are replaced
She wants her teeth straightening and the Dentist has just confirmed he can do it without breaking her jaw and by removing 1 tooth and braces for 2 years. She was told 45 years ago that only breaking her jaw would enable her to have her teeth realigned. So I'm paying for Orthodontics and she is over the moon.

I've also pondered on the Lotus Emira as my next toy... In the meantime, I ordered a new daily in the shape of an Audi RS4 Evant, that was last month - delivery date August next year - Jesus wept. The global chip shortage is hitting the car industry quite hard.
Xmas - best present of all would be to be with the family this year and have a few days on the bank, not cooped up in bloody lockdown with nowhere to go and feck all to do.
