Don't know mate I don't use them myself, matt did me some cork balls of my own baits I roll myself and while they looked nice they fell apart after a couple of hours whereas the ones I've done myself since last 24 hours easily

My mate had some customs rolled. He wasn't happy at all with them. To be fair UB redid them for him, but by that point he'd lost confidence in them, so to my knowledge he just binned them.

I've had 4 pots of Custom Cork Balls since Ryan took over. They have been perfectly rolled, reliably buoyant, resilient and easily last 24hrs+. They've caught me fish right from the off as either singles or over bait. Confidence in a pot and well worth the money👍

Only slightly softer, I would say maybe due to being fresher? Will still last 24hrs easy.. just airdry them if you want them firmer

Like I said earlier he rolled some for me with basemix and liquids I supplied and they looked nice but fell apart in no time at all, so I had a go myself and they last perfectly well. Matt was notoriously flakey when it came to delivery, people waiting weeks or months and that's just taking the piss. He had circumstances but was still taking orders so really unprofessional. Not used his own baits, I prefer shillhams airballs popups, or specialised hookbaits. I'm having about 2 thirds of my fish of the garlic ones on the trip I'm on at the minute

I've had about 12 orders off Ryan and he's been spot on to do business with. One time I had a pot that turned soft about couple hrs, I mean really soft. Contacted Ryan and problem sorted. Can't really fault him. But then I was a lucky one. Never had one problem with matt either. I wouldn't use anything else. In a overpriced market where other companies are asking silly money. These are the ones for me 👍🏻

I've had multiple orders off Ryan, only Bobbers as don't use pop ups. He and his hook baits have been great, I also never had problems with Matt, even towards the end. I don't use any other hookbaits only UB over AB Baits boilies 👌🏻

Matts old UB Corkballs were far too soft. For a 'bespoke manufacturer', I could not believe how poor they were, my own home made ones being miles better. A curiosity purchase, and an error. It's not difficult to make them last at least 48 hours, I can see no excuse for shabby products.

I have found the corkballs are really good but I have found the bobbers are much softer sine ryan started doing them. They smell the same just seem like they haven't been dried as long or the mix has less hardener in it.

Hi, I just saw this thread and just wanted to say if anyone has or have had any problems with their hookbaits from me, please feel free to get in contact & I am more than happy to sort something out with you, the last thing I want is people being unhappy and all feedback is valued and appreciated. Apologies if you were not satisfied and please do get in touch with me via the Facebook page or my mobile number on the page. Cheers Ryan

You're spot on, near the end the bloke sent out pure *****, I know because i had to bin a couple of pots that basically melted anywhere near water, the **** also ripped people off.

The new owner is very helpful and returns inquiries very quickly , what worries me is the new chap is using the same formulations and i could end up with the same end result, bait in the bin rather than in the water.

Ryan has anything changed?

I promise they won't melt away, if you fancy a sample pot to test just drop me a message on the UB Baits page and I'll send them out to you.

If anyone else wants to try a few, same applies just drop me a message on the UB Baits Facebook page and I'll Sort it out it's a good opportunity for people to try the baits again or for the first time. I'd much rather let the baits do the talking.

I've had a few pots of Bobbers from Ryan and they have all been far from soft! I even struggle to get the needle through some of them. I don't leave any bait on longer than overnight, and when I bring them in to freshen up you still can't squash them off, even sometimes hard to split. I don't use pop ups so can't comment on them, but I can comment on the great products and service. Keep it up Ryan

For anyone concerned about this clown Carp123' opinions, he's just started a shilling thread for the Koda pops baits. I think it would be fair to say his opinion on UB baits can be taken with a pinch of salt.

I had no end of problems getting matt to fulfil orders but liked his products so was on the way to ordering with Ryan. When the order was arranged over FB he wanted paying PayPal friends and family which I wasn't prepared to do. Since them I've since been using specialised hookbaits and well happy. I won't be going back

You only have to look at his feedback now it speaks for itself. Funny you say that. I gave my mate a few ting tongs and he's had it off straight away, so much so that the specialised hookbaits have gone and he's on the ting tongs. He said to me why pay silly money when you can £7.50 and For him the results on ub have smashed specialised

Just received my latest order, all good as usual, one thing though, I ordered some Ting Tong bobbers (as I have done very well on TT pop ups) and also ordered some GTX bobbers on a whim as I have heard good things about them, only thing is they smell pretty much exactly the same

I could be 'nose blind' after smelling the first one though
