Carp company sell a nodd oil. Very much doubt it’s the same as the original though… I’ve heard people say it’s just CLO but that isn’t my recollection of it

i was probably one of them. I was in the Richworth syndicate down there back in the day, i caught my first 20, my first double and my first 30 down there as a teenager.

White chocolate banana ester or plum royale were all winners

I've been down that road and my conclusion is this idea of mixing baits is put out by the industry to try to encourage people to buy more bait just my opinion. I even see bait companies saying these particular two baits work well mixed together.. Sorry im not buying it.

My angling definitely improved when i decided to have one go to bait, carry a lot less hookbait varieties and just taking them decisions away from me and concentrating solely on putting what i am using in the right place. I think its a sign of inexperience and a lack of confidence in your approach using lots of different baits and only confuses the angler rather than the fish.

May have something to do with the dyes in feed baits being outlawed by eu regulations these days I guess

Am I imagining it or did ESP not sell pop ups many moons ago? Im talking 15
Or so years ago. I could be mistaken. Must be a decent mark up on these
Commercially rolled pop ups. ESP must think there is money to be made..

EDIT they did indeed sell pop ups 12 years ago. Just found a you tube video promoting them

It was sourced from the koi rearing industry in Japan so the story goes.

The original club mix was put together to fish harrow (herts club lake) from memory. The original bait used on there contained tackle box ming oil and anchovy extract as well as squid octopus koi rearer . When it was released to the wider public the ming oil was replaced with stimulin amino. Whether this was the only change from their own bait to the one that was sold I couldn’t tell you. The original bait contained lactalbumin (and of course the koi reared) which isn’t available anymore so any attempt to copy it won’t be the same.

The dna betastim pellets are good but they are nothing like the halibut betaine pellets cc Moore did, more a carp pellet soaked in betastim. Sounds like that's not what you are looking for. I don't know any high oil betaine pellets around now personally
Are you sure?
