I don't know about the mk1 but can say the difference between the mk2 memory foam bed and the sleep system mattress surprised me.
I was not comfy on the bed even with a trakker 365 on it, but the sleep system mattress is much less contoured and comfier for me

Thread: Kumu clothing poor quality

I have two pairs of Kumu cocoon joggers from a few years ago which are really comfy.
I have tried to buy new ones twice now, and both times have been a complete farce.
The first time was a while ago, ordered directly from Kumu.
The first time I wore them, the zip on the pocket jammed shut so I could not get my keys out without cutting the pocket inside.
I contacted Kumu who advised there was a manufacturing issue with lots of them because the zip allowed to travel too far.
They said they could not possibly spare the time to check all of their stock for this issue and were just sending them out for customers to discover.
This time, I ordered on a site called rackhams.com and ordered black and green both in size large.
They are terrible quality, the two pairs are different lengths and on one the ankle cuffs are much smaller.
Rackhams are contacting Kumu for them to arrange a prepaid return shipping label.
I have posted this due to consistently poor quality and then lacking customer service when it counts.

I ended up with Anglingprotect this year, worked out to about £15 per month for £10k.
I looked closely and Insurance Emporium and it didn't seem to cover unattended tackle when sleeping, which to me seems to be one of our most vulnerable times.

There is a carbon spray from Maver that is used to build up worn pole sections, could try that to build up the shorter one?
Old school way of the same thing used to be candle wax or a lead pencil
If the sections are numbered I wouldn't want to swap sections around personally, I've always thought they were built together and should stay together

I just bought a couple of the Ulanzi Vijim Vl66 from Alixpress for about £12 each, supposed to be same as the Rhino version and they seem good to me.
Better off on a separate bankstick rather than on top of the phone/camera for more natural looking lighting that is less likely to reflect straight back at the camera

Mine was a standalone policy and the letter said they weren't renewing unless part of a building & contents policy, so seems at least Aviva are going the other way.
Insurance Emporium as shown on the Johnson Ross and TFT are much more expensive than I was paying before, about three times as much 😱

My Aviva Select policy is also refusing to renew for Sports Equipment cover, they must be getting hammered on claims!
So I am also on the lookout for a replacement

I wouldn't accept that either.
Is there any cork in the spigot area that could rot? Usually that is protected when the rod is being used, so could be an issue.
I just had a horrible returns experience with an online retailer and can say that it sounds like the Consumer Rights Act 2015 section 9 clause 1, 2 and 3 is where you want to start looking if they don't budge and you are outside the return window

The Solar sp-c tech is expensive but worth the money if you can stretch to it.
Best price I found was on tiktok shop using the vouchers and it can be had for £340. The sleep system version is nice and roomy too, for a system.
I did find the system had a less bumpy feel than the bed because the mattress on the system is more simple than the contoured one on the bed.
The solar worldwide bed or system is cheaper and does look really good too, was just a bit short for me compared to the c-tech
I'd avoid fox personally, after having a weld go on a flatliter but they may have improved since then

I tried a 13ft one and it's not for me, the internal pockets and position of the straps for the rod ends don't suit 12ft 6 rods at all.
It could do with being a tad bigger for 14000 shimano too...
I would have been happy if tiptops fitted in to get around the straps not suiting my rods, but then nothing really fitted at all
Probably could do without the weight anyway, so no great loss
