What company’s are you using for Tackle insurance I was using M&S through my house insurance as an extra policy but they have stopped doing it now so I am after any recommendations on what companies anyone else are using

I've not used them. My tackle ain't worth insuring😀😉

But I'm sure Johnson Ross tackle shop do there own tackle insurance. Or work with an insurance company. Might be worth a look.😀

I was also using M&S before they stopped doing it. Just switched to LLoyds Bank Home Insurance, like M&S it wasn't the cheapest but it has good cover for items away from home (you can specify the amount) and individual items over a certain value can also be specified/covered away from home.

My Aviva Select policy is also refusing to renew for Sports Equipment cover, they must be getting hammered on claims!

So I am also on the lookout for a replacement

It’s a new tactic by insurance companies.
Strip out certain items but charge the same premiums.

Mine was a standalone policy and the letter said they weren't renewing unless part of a building & contents policy, so seems at least Aviva are going the other way.

Insurance Emporium as shown on the Johnson Ross and TFT are much more expensive than I was paying before, about three times as much 😱

That seems like a bait and switch tactic.
I bet they’ve signed up loads of customers for sports equipment insurance at a low cost with the hope they can convert those customers to a more lucrative policy at a future date.

I used the insurance emporium through total fishing tackle... £15 a month for £10k cover
Are you sure?
