Had the first version since it came out but its starting to hurt my shoulder as I sleep on my side. Its always been very firm but its now causing me issues. Is the mk2 mem foam better? Dont want to shell out £450 if its going to be the same. Ive also got a mountain equipment glacier 5.0 sim on it as well and still hurts so a sim wont help as the mountain equipment one is very thick.

I don't know about the mk1 but can say the difference between the mk2 memory foam bed and the sleep system mattress surprised me.
I was not comfy on the bed even with a trakker 365 on it, but the sleep system mattress is much less contoured and comfier for me

Yep, love my Flatliner X SS from TFT...even if it is camo 🤣
I'm a side sleeper, just over 6' and around 15 stone and it's very comfy but on the firmer side. There's a seem under mine where the materials meet which creates a harder line which is best avoided with your shoulders. It's a heavy thing but with barrows who cares. I've done about 250 nights on mine, still as good as new 👍

Iv just bought the mk 2 solar bed . Yet to use it . It’s firmer than any bed Iv ever owned , probably heavier too . The people I know who have one say it’s the best bed they have ever owned

I ordered the last one from their eBay shop yesterday then had a message saying they sold the last one in store and cancelled my order 😢 was looking to get the Solar bed but really like the look of the Fox MF8 now but don’t think I could part with £600 for it. £450 was bad enough 😂

A lot of my frontier was out of stock, said maybe 4 weeks to get it, it arrived the next week.
If they're getting more in they should honour the deal price for preorder, they did me, worth a try 👍
