What light panels are people using for their night shots? To be used with both a high quality camera and an iPhone

I use one of these. I also bought it as it it doubles up as my bivvy light.

I had another panel light that fits on the hotshoe of my camera but even on full power, it was taking about a second to exposure the shot on ISO 400. I now use the NGT on a bank stick about 6 foot away and at an angle of 45 degrees to set up the shot in the dark and it does give a more even light.

I know some people use the panel light as their only source of light but after taking a series of test shots, I'll stick with the pop up flash as the primary light and the panel light as the additional.

I just bought a couple of the Ulanzi Vijim Vl66 from Alixpress for about £12 each, supposed to be same as the Rhino version and they seem good to me.

Better off on a separate bankstick rather than on top of the phone/camera for more natural looking lighting that is less likely to reflect straight back at the camera

I originally had 2 Ulanzi lights but quite quickly the switch failed on one of them.

I replaced that one with 2 of these which I use with the remaining Ulanzi with my iPhone 17 pro max.
I am really happy with the results so much so I don't take my "proper" camera anymore which saves space and weight

My ulanzi on off switch is starting to play up so i recently got another one similar to yours linked, but its not currently available
