When 'wanting what others have' equates to a basic standard of living that is perpetually out of reach because of a system that discriminates against the poorest in society...
People - of every colour and culture- are fighting to survive. Meanwhile politicians reward themselves and their cronies with ever increasing financial disparity. The foothold isn't something that people should have to lie to be able to reach. Stop blaming those that are being held down and look at who is really reaping the 'benefits'. No cap on bankers bonuses, but a 2 child benefit cap. It's the people who own the big boats that are bleeding you dry, not those who arrive in small ones.
The fact that different races / communities are disparately affected isn't the fault of those people, but the fault of those for whom systemic racism works in their favour.
The race issue is that rich white men keep telling gullible poorer white men that it's the fault of brown men that they can't have 'what others have'.

We'll have to agree to disagree, you clearly think racism is at fault. A lot of African migrants are doing so because of corruption from their own politicians, nothing to do with race, just greed as always.
As for basic amenities or rights, you can't just bugger off to another country, or as is happening apparently now you can, because your entitled for some unknown reason.
@Scozza, yes there are secular towns now full of foreigners. Note I call them foreigners as they have absolutely no intention of integrating, obeying the laws of the land and little respect for amenities they haven't contributed to historically. In other countries they'd be made to live in the mess they create, not in Eurooe though, that'd be discrimination, probably try the race card there too. There's quite a lot of stuff that isn't reported, the government putting the gag on the press in the interest of inter racial harmony, every now and then one gets through.

What makes you think I follow Farage ?...
I make my own mind up,...lots of people millions ,don't like these third world people here people look around ,see degradation, which has nothing to do with investment and are horrified by how these large groups of foreigners live their lives ,even if money was given to them ,hand over fist,they would still behave in that way ,this is because they don't know how to behave...have no values and are beyond education to British ways of life...
I know of poor people ,people who struggle daily with money problems ,problems with mental health ,all sorts of issues they certainly don't go around behaving like those in Leeds and other unfortunate areas..its just an excuse..
Lefties are very,very dangerous misguided people ,they have no real concept of the longterm danger of large groups of well dressed young men from other countries..we have been invaded,illegally by God knows what..!
Of course many problems are excaberated where young minds are corrupted by people alleged to be helping them in education ..
These teachers should be heavily monitored ,and removed at the slightest hint of overstepping the mark ..

I agree we have a problem with disparity, yes the rich are getting richer and for some of them cheap imported labour is one way of achieving that, and it's the likes ofus that pay into the benefits system so that the badly paid get benefits to make ends meet.
The rich have enough money not too worry about allowing uncontrolled immigration, but we can't carry on allowing economic migrants into the country.
And let's face it, some of them come from countries with completely different cultures and laws and don't want to integrate.
Just like many of us when we go abroad.

One of the problems in this country is we have too many lazy b@stids who want to sit on their big fat ass and live of the dole.
Make them work for their dole money doing the menial sh1t jobs that the migrants do.
What's wrong with them going crop picking or helping on the dust carts or even litter picking in the streets.
Get a sheet signed at the end of the day and then get their dole.
Soon realise getting paid sod all for a days graft will make them get a job.
And I don't mean disabled people or pensioners.
This country has been built on migrant workers

And the list will go on ad infinitum

Blaming people is the easy way out. Fact is, these deprived areas have been starved of funding and development for decades, this the result. To blame Blair is nonsense partisanship, this is a collective failure. Still, look at their faces.....

It's a sad state of affairs that people who can see the way this country is going with their own eyes are deemed racists by people wearing rose tinted spectacles. Won't be that long before people are fleeing this country at the rate it's going.
There are some interesting thoughts for sure.
Dare I say it they are a lot of like minded people in these communities who are prepared to accept what they get. There will be some entrepreneurs who have got out by whatever means, right or wrong.
To be successful in the UK you need to be able to hold a job down or be self employed but ultimately be able to earn a living to pay your way in life. As some one mentioned below I am more than happy to support the unfortunate such as the disabled, it's what makes this country great. However, as also mentioned there are two many people black or white folks who just want to sit on their arses and moan about how bad it is. If they have the capability to work they need to get out there and do so. We are at a distinct advantage in this country due to the fact anybody can get a free education and can then get opportunities, it's how it works over here, if you can't get in that cycle then you get what you get sadly because that's our culture unfortunately. There are systems in place though for if you can't get a job, not ideal but it can pay your way in life, another thing that's great about this country, used them myself a couple of times in my life
