I’d give them time.

If I’d spent all that money and wasn’t happy with them I’d simply be getting my money back.

For me I’d like that sort of thing but in a square bucket. It would be nice to have it with a couple of insert trays to take essential items rather than a separate box.

With all usual items I take in the base.

For me it would be perfect Xmas purchase from the other half 👍🏼

I’ve used GT HD in 15lb for years now and generally very happy with it. Though leaving it out in the sun for days it does go brittle surprisingly quickly.

However any snag fishing I’m automatically looking for plus 0.40 plus mono.

Currently using 20lb Korda touchdown I’m quite happy with.

Tbh I think line diameter is the important metric.

GTHD 15lb is ok but imho if you are encountering a snag then you’re too far off your rods imho.
No matter how stong the line is a decent snag breaks them all.
If I’m fishing a Snaggy water where I know it’s going to get some stick, then 20lb mono and sitting on my rods.
Every time I encounter a snag and am lucky to land the fish - I strip off that mono as they all go pop no matter what folk say,

That said season old mono it’s very noticeable how much strength it looses.

Both completely different boats aimed at different sized waters.

Specifications below deeper first then Toslon

Height 23.7 cm 27 cm
Weight 4.8 kg 7.0 kg
Maximum bait capacity 2 kg 5 kg

Send them an email and specifically ask them about the socket it might have internal seals or you simply seal with a rubber bung when not used.
In the FAQ it’s says IP67 rated which means protection against temporary immersion in water up to 1 metre deep for up to 30 minutes under test conditions but clearly they’ve done something different for the socket.

But like all things something IP67 does not guarantee waterproof for a lifetime you might also want to ask that it’s likely as long as the warranty.

I’ve got short rods and I’ve got long rods.
I’m happy with them all.

Just use what rod you want and are happy to and worry less about trying to justify to fit a status quo
Are you sure?
