I have just unearthed this pic of my kitchen circa 1990 and am flooded with different emotions;
What a chore it was…I was working two jobs at the time and fishing three nights a week, and somewhere I had to shoehorn in making bait…thank the lord for the closed season…….oh, and for tigers!
Some days you’d go to work stinking of bait….I spilt a tiny, tiny bit of N-Butyric Acid on my trousers once and the kafuffle at work you’d think it was the end of the world just because the changing room smelled “like sick!”
I cannot see all the labels but remember well..Dried brewer’s yeast, Minamino, Richworth Bird food enhancer…and all those essential oils, Black pepper, Burgamot, Geranium, Spanish red Thyme, Ylang Ylang..

…..so glad DNA make all my bait now! 😀
