I carry this time of year when kit is down to a minimum, little esp rucksack, sling with two rods and avid lite bedchair. Fairly simple and fortunately don't have to carry mat or weigh sling as provided on lake.

If I can, barrow even for day sessions, why not, I hate being hot and sweaty even before I set up especially in summer.

Tend to carry a lot because path to peg is up and down through long grass, mud over bridges just hard work with the barrow so rod bag chair and bucket sorts me out
