We don't have ‘team members'... We have never needed them. Anglers buy our products, for one reason, because they work. We have never been in carp angling, to drum up business from saps. We have never had that need. If that need ever arises, I'll give up the game in a heartbeat.
There are only three anglers in the last ten years whom have ever had anything they want or need from us for free. One is John Cash, top floor layer... Dinton top rod... Working family man. Another is Ricci Connolly, Wingham top rod, owns a million pound plus business, working family man. The other was Micky Gray, postie, working family man.
If you are smart/clever, you will see a pattern there...
I could have had a Terry Hearn corkball on sale for an amount of money a year a few years back... I turned it down. Not because I could not afford it. Because we have always tried to do things on results, and nothing else whatsoever.

Some of these anglers are so desperate for success and be a “name” it is clear they will do anything. Makes me smile when they talk about their hobby being there job and how jealous people are.
I'm not and never have been jealous! In fact far from it.
Fishing is my escape from reality and work and I would hate it to become something I had to do.
So to all you “names” you craic on making your videos and plugging your tackle and whoring your hobby.
I'll just go fishing and love my time on the bank.

Anyone who is envious of somebody who sleeps in a tent 4 nights a week, sh*ts in a bucket and scrapes £25k a year by relentlessly chatting b**locks on the internet is welcome to it as far as I'm concerned.

If you think that these blokes earn anywhere near that amount you are very much mistaken.
It has always been a massive misconception among carp anglers about how much these blokes earn trust me. They earn FA.
TH & a few others earn okay, no where near what you'd think. The rest, FA seriously. I have more money on a horse running in the Hennessy next weekend than most of these blokes get a year. Full timers who live on the breadline in reality. Free kit yes... Lots of wonga no.
It's all an illusion. Poor kids on the internet think they are going to earn a fortune... They could not be more wrong.
