I think you have to be an angler of a certain age to appreciate what Nash have bought to the table.
I certainly wasn't aware of any other bivvy of a design even remotely like the original Titan? Groundbreaking IMO.
The first commercially available unhooking mats I was aware of were Nashys silver ones.
The bolt beads with the little lug on the back to push antitangle tube onto, simply brilliant.

Just seen a post re new Nash products on FB, the end is not nigh ...not yet anyway

Yes I saw Alan Blair drop a few hints regarding the Scope Black Ops gear is due soon. Scope boat, Subterfuge water boxes etc.

Agree. Titan bivs, early sacks and ultra comfortable beds, early leadclips, bait and oval brollys are all items that imo set the bar although nowdays the only item i still use are his wideboy bedchairs. Certainly in years gone by his contributions were without doubt a big help in pursuit of carp..... nowdays with so much compeition its inevitable that their influence has waned... at least with with an old dinasour like me that does not understand boom boom music, sawn offs, scopes and graffiti(i cant even spell it) style urban behavour!

Completely lost their way although the whole urban banx films were good and had a loads of views how much did that really translate to sales..

I don't think there is a big market for the small rods, light gear urban fishing style that they were pushing. Give me a quiet lake in the middle of knowhere anyday.

Bivvys and alarms are decent but apart from that what would buy from nash ?

I haven't a single item of Nash now,I did have their dot spomb which was good but lost it,I had 2 lots of Nash trax barrows one when I lived in Southampton and one when I moved back to the midlands,both had theirs wheels pop and their customer service was crap at time as well.
I stick to
Trakker(Bivvy)
Korda(terminal tackle etc)
TA(luggage)
And a few others for rods,reels,alarms etc

It makes me wonder how much Kevin is actually involved in Nash these days? He isn't a young man anymore & I suspect Nash's failings in recent years could rest on other people's shoulders, as it were.

It could also be argued that the whole Scope concept saved Nash from disappearing many years ago...

Based on a few hints that have been dropped, you're spot on. Apparently the Scope range has been a big revenue generator.

Think the biggest release would be the bushwhacker in the last 5 years for Nash
Surely everything else is just a shiny rehash.
Probably no different to any other brand there though …..

Definitely don't think Nash is aimed at the "older " carp angler anymore.

Some say ...it was apotheosis in either aerograde alloy poles or fibre glass, the original five rib easy dome with HD built in bathtub ,groundsheet ,then mk1 straight bar titan in slippery eel ,with the shrinking bar tabs ,which made it impossible to set up ..( built to front mother nature and win)....,and as mentioned the union jack armos made by Julie I believe ..

That's the evolution of how I remember it going ,..

I was under the impression that he has not been involved for a good few years in day to day running of it. I think he literally just takes a royalty or dividend payment now a days.

I'm sure it was around the time that they split the bait and the tackle side into two businesses.
