Quote: Creek material for Nashy early pursuit luggage, including those two and three rod holdalls,so you could keep your reel on the rod.

I bought a Nash rucksack and 3 rod holdall in 1986,
The rucksack gave up the ghost 2005-ish and zip went on the the rod holdall about a year later.

What a find that was & opportunity taken.... the Kevlar thread type material he spotted in the rubbish bins of a bullet proof vest making factory ( I think ) that lead to quite a lot more shy carp being landed and a nice business for Dave, Yes, Kryston multi-strand, then silkworm.

Delkim with the tx2000 system.
A simple add on to the txi alarms.
A big upgrade from the wired bitech viper sounder box and diy wires from Tandy.

Also, the first Nash lead clip wasn't about dropping the lead.
The swivel went into the body of the lead clip to make it semi fixed but it could pull out easily.
I'd leave a long tag end of the mono sticking out to tighten the swivel in place when needed.
Nash later brought out lead clips with holes in the side so you could tie the swivel in place to allow leads to drop when needed. Then later little pegs were made to plug into the holes.

Quote: We also had Kevin to thank for the Rod Sling, with our nubrolli's inside the main compartment, with our rods on the side, etc.
You have to give it to him he has brought a lot to the market.

How did I forget the first to make a holdall to take made up rods with reels attached. An idea bought to him by Rodger Smith of Savay fame by all accounts.

Even the quilted one piece suits that were all the rage in the 90s. Was bought to market by Nashy. After seeing Rodger smiths one piece suit made out of an old sleeping bag..😀👍👏

Were they the blue fleece lined ones with a hood? Knew a guy once who accidentally did a crap in the hood in one of them, lol.

Yes, there was a definite knack to be learnt when going to the loo whilst wearing those one piece suits.
Are you sure?
