Couldn't agree . Great for slipping on when on the bank and it's tipping it down . Quick way to warm up and stay dry . Perfect to keep in the motor if the weather turns cold and wet or you need to get out of your wet clothes .

Dry Robes worn by Lazy Mums on the school run. Generally running late.Slung over the PJ''s with obligatory Ugg boots to complete the look.

I need to find a black one with a white front so I can Bop around looking like a fat penguin

must admit to owning one (Camo obviously!). Present from my kids after seeing them on holiday surfing (them not me). Must admit - sits in car and if raining and cold its a godsend. Completely dry clothes getting back into Bivvy and easy on / off over anything. If it had KarpKape on the back I'm sure plenty would change their minds.

Just got back from the Essex carp show. Plenty of these dry Robes on show. Grown men walking round in them seems to be the new carp attire. There was even a stand selling just these dry Robes..

I bought one of the Catchdry versions.
To be honest it's absolutely perfect for what I bought it for. A big plus is that because I'm slightly shorter than the average midget, I stay totally dry from head to toe when wearing my wellies.
I won't be wearing it to the carp show though.

Yep, that where they come into their own. Almost top to bottom coverage. Great for chucking on.

To be honest these seem like a great idea, keeps all of you dry rather than your legs getting wet if you just sling a coat on and ideal if you're sitting out in rain or just under a brolly rather than having the luxury of a bivvy. Would be ideal for dog walking and fishing, just a green one for me though as I don't really do camo.

I can see the point of the original design purpose. To allow changing from wet swimming clothes into dry everyday clothes, in a public space. Other than that there are probably better existing options. I can see a use if trotting on a river where you have to stand in the open in all sorts of weather. For everyday carping I wouldn't buy one personally.

Exactly that. They were designed for changing out of wet cloths on the beach keeping you warm in the process. Not as an everyday outdoor coat.Better options for that Putting on in the bivvy to keep the chill out, Maybe.. at least then no one can see you...

im not sure anyone on here is advocating the wearing one as an every day coat?
