We're due some rain this week by the looks of it. Hopefully it's enough to do some good.
My lake is down by what must be close to a couple of feet now.
It's desperately needed.

Agreed.
The pond I was on yesterday is down at least 3 foot and I was chatting to a lad there who said Sinah Warren was so low you could see all the underwater structures - worst he's seen in years.
Another lake I fish has totally shut down, river fed but the river is so low it's not getting in through the inlet 😞
Sadly the rain down here doesn't look as biblical as it was going to be, but I'd say anything will help for sure.
Oddly though, the fishing for me has been quite magnificent, a couple of mid thirties and upper twenties in lakes that don't hold many big fish!

I'm out now on a local runs water as not been out in ages. Had 5 so far but seriously considering not doing the night as I'm spending half the day dodging falling branches etc so wouldn't have a comfortable night, so may cut my losses and pack up on dark instead

Fished last night, exceptionally windy, was behind an embankment, but still clinging onto the bivvy most of the night. I was the only one on surprisingly....

I'm giving up today. 1 rod left out and a kingfisher landed on it, with a catch in its beak, can't finish on much better note than that! Sadly I'm not one to have the camera ready at all times so no pic

Nice day for it tomorrow, bit of a dip temp wise at the weekend but nice and mild next week @ 15 deg c for quite a few days 
2 weeks of double digit weather coming up, 14/15 deg next week, got to be in with a good chance of some better fish
