Not just any old book though Joe, but yes it does seem a lot of fuss
My biggest regret was lending out my signed copy of A Quest for Carp by Jack Hilton and not getting it back

I had 8 confirmation emails 5-10 mins after I ordered about 11.30 last night
Don't think anyone that has ordered after the initial crash will be getting a signed copy as Calm have suggested the signed copies went in a couple of mins before the crash

It's a good point! Again, doesn't bother me as I've got no intention of selling that or any of the other books I have. I can see the sentiment in a personalised message maybe, but don't see the fuss in a book with an autograph in.
My order number was 12000 and something - my assumption is that that was the copy I will be getting, and therefore people with order numbers 000500 and lower will be getting an autograph

It crashed before any were sold (before midnight). I think what they're saying is all 500 went immediately when they went live for testing the fixes.
