The UK's biggest common has died. No idea how old it was but these pellet reared fish don't seem to last long? Wonder if living in a high angling pressure environment also decreases their lifespan?

Knowing RH it was probably less than 10 years old.

It IS a shame it's dead but it's possibly better off in my humble opinion. Again just my opinion but this type of fishery is everything wrong with carp fishing today. Again, just my opinion...
