Thread: 13 Foot Casting Rods

Am after a set of x3 13 footers that can whack a lead.
Am preferably looking for a budget rod that doesn’t cost the earth as they will be abused for sure!
Does anyone know of any tackle shops with a clearance section where I can grab a bargain set?
Cheers!

PB Products Skinless.
Don’t be put off how “coily” it is off the spool. It straightens nicely.
Only issue with this stuff is keeping the coating in tact when knotting down.
If you want a stiff coated material, give this gear a look!

@Serenity
Interesting post.
Do you think that something like Glucoamylase plays a part in any of their liquid activators formula?
I have said it before and still firmly believe that Mainline have absolutely mastered the art of liquid attraction. It appears that not only is it attractive in its own right from an olfactory perspective. But their liquid formula seems to make the powdered ingredients react in synergy. Kudos to them I say.

I been a GT HD user for many years and had no real reason to change. But got bedazzled by Damian Clarke's passionate review on a recent podcast, so I thought I'd give it a whirl as I needed to re spool anyway.
Have to say - I am impressed with it.
It does knot down really well and also sinks relatively well. It seems durable enough also. Has handled itself well with fish getting weeded up with hardly any coil up afterwards. IMO, HD is a slight better caster when fishing over 90+ yards, but not a lot in it. Overall I am happy with it and can recommend if someone is looking for a new line. Will continue to be using it for the foreseeable. Well done Korda!

Am curious. Can you give some examples of the bad business decisions that have been made that would sink other companies?
