Currently using a Bulin T4. It's been so reliable and well worth the money I paid for it. My main reason for wanting something new is how my pots and pans seem to slide around on top of it. I'm constantly on guard as I worry whatever I am cooking will fall off. Looking for recommendations on something similar but with more surface area to support the frying pan/saucepan.

Looking at other stoves out there. I'd say the Bulins have a bigger surface area than most of the simular ones out there. The only ones tha look bigger are the Ridgeminkey square stoves. Failing that. There not exactly small. What about the case type stoves that take the tubular propane cannister. Plenty of surface area on them..

If your happy with the stove have you thought about a stove stand instead, they fold to next to nothing, and come in different sizes.These have been discussed on the forum before along with levelling platforms, if I find it I'll link it, this link is a eg.

I recently got one of those type of stands, brilliant, especially at stopping the Ridge Spunkey falling off the stove

They're a fairly generic design, quite a few sellers on Ebay and Anazon etc, search Stainless Steel Foldable Camping Grill Rack.

I think Baitman used/uses a T4 with one of those stove levels, seems to be ringing a bell from bargains

I have occasionally used the odd flat pebble.
I might keep hold of a suitable wedgie shaped one next time I have to go hunting.

Hmm...not my experience of Fire Maple. My titanium stove from them leaked gas at the canister connection and they said it wasn't a fault...the worse bit...Ebay backed them up

Maybe I was just unlucky, I posted a vid of it on here a long time ago.

I have used the Bulin T4 for years and never had an issue, apart from sliding pans , as above.
That's why I recently treated myself to the Trakker CG-4.
Basically the same stove, but with 4 fold out legs/arms instead of 3 .
That, along with a slightly bigger footprint, has meant that the old Spank Monkey is far more stable on top.
Another nice touch is the 4 adjustable feet, meaning you can get it nice and level, so no oil pooling to one side of the pan.
A bit pricier thqn the Bulin, but well worth it to me.
As I knew the previous Trakker CG-3 was simply a re badged T4, I had a look around t'internet to see if Bulin were putting out the same stove, but didn't find that to be the case, so I ended up paying the inevitable Carp Tax.
That said, I'm well pleased with my purchase and feel it's still good value, seeing as how long these stoves last.

Mine turned up this morning surprised how sturdy it is and adjustable

It's now in the shed on a shelf where it will probably stay

I read your post and thought and decided the same, it has definite advantages so sod the carp tax I'm buying one.

Well just set it up for the first time and had my first cup of tea, it really is an upgrade on my old T4.

So easy to level, no kettle wobble. One of the biggest improvements is that the legs lock in place. I don't know if they did on the original tracker but they didn't on my T4.

It's a bit heavier and takes 30 seconds more to set up and take down due to the leg locking mechanism but otherwise first impressions are really positive.

I've recently got one of these - really pleased with it, boils a kettle full in no time at all and a decent length of hose with it too - packs up quite small into a little plastic orange cube - what's not to like..
