I 2nd the Aldi ones. Had mine for 4 years now and confident it will do me another winter before I will look to replace, probably with another pair from there given the price point, which works out less than £5 per year of use

another vote for the Prologic here, great value for money and found them very warm. Seen lots of others recommend them on here over the years.

Bought the Trakker and Prologic litepro 2.set the Prologic is top, sended the Trakker back to the shop

Whats the sizing like on the Prologic stuff?

What's the difference between the Prologic Avenger Thermal Suit and the Prologic Max5 Thermo Suit, does anyone know?

Also interested in a size guide for these too please, if anyone has an idea.

I found sizing pretty normal, I normally wear a large in t-shirts/jumpers etc and bought large salopettes. I'm 6'1" and 90kg and fit well. Plenty of room for a coat/fleece underneath but not baggy etc.

For warmth, the Snugpak/Fortis ones are hard to beat, but they aren't waterproof - you'll want waterproof over trousers to cover them if you're standing out in the rain. I couple mine with the Aqua waterproofs. You won't be cold on the bank wearing the Snugpak salopettes and SJ9 jacket.

do.snugpack not do a torrent version of the sallopetes like the coat??

I use to have the snugpak ones and couldnt fault them but I upgraded to Buffalo clothing sallopettes and the mountain jacket and its a level above - not cheap though!!!

If you need an even warmer pack then the Prologic Litepro suit 2 set then you are crazy, in the winter -2 degrees and heavy wind just wear a T-shirt and underpants with the
Prologic Litepro 2set and it was more than warm enough


My clothing size is M and the Prologic Litepro in M ​​fits perfectly, also tried the Prologic Max5 Thermo suit, it was too heavy and bulky for me.

The prologic high grade bib brace is very warm but very bulky feel like Michelin manI wish I had bought the litepro tbh I had the max 5 got rid heavy a bulky

yet another vote for the Prologic-HighGrade-Thermo simply brilliant

Absolutely love my snugpak salopettes, super warm but they almost feel quite thin so it makes it really easy to move around and to sit down in them.
