Just a heads up if anyone is interested. There is a dymag mobile net just listed on ebay. Pretty rare one as is completely brand new with extra 3 foot extension. Will more than likely go for silly money as it just went on and already at £255.
I saw this. I get the standard Dymag net thing, the spreader and arm set up is very well done. Really don't get why these stalker nets generate the same interest, they're not that great.
Spotted this earlier, my favourite part is that the £255 hasn't met the reserve... And still has 9 days left!

They are the same block and arms as the 42 inch standard net so the exact same net only arms are 4 inches shorter.

Im not on about the mk3 im on about the mk2 which is identical to the mobile/stalker net only arms are shorter. Ive owned all 3 and the mk2 has a more user friendly block. I never realy got on with my mk3 net. Much prefer the block on the mk2 and mobile net.

Then we are comparing different nets. Never had an issue with the MK3 block to be honest, just sold it to buy 2 CB nets and don't regret it. The MK2 and stalker nets are nothing special (in my opinion) but others clearly feel they are when you look at what they go for!

Theres not much between all of them other than the block. Pole is the same, mk3 has slightly different carbon on arms but you wouldnt notice it. I liked the isotope on the mk2 block as well.

According to my recollection I think that what it's looking to be reserved at then it'd cost about £20 either if it sells or not plus about 10% of the cost it sells (providing it does sell) for.
Edit. Does eBay let you know when they've offers on like the one you say?.

100% AGREE when I tried the flashier looking mk3 and then the Mk2 I found the Mk2 much better so changed my mind and bought the Mk2 and hand on heart its one of the best things I have ever bought and definitely the best net and trust me I have owned or used most inc Springbow landing net from Dons of Edmonton Solar bow loc etc etc

Considering that second hand ones were fetching £311 upwards with a £30 postage fee I wouldn't have expected £365 to have reached its reserve.
Personally speaking considering that there are no new dymags around and Graeme has stopped making them then I can see £700 upwards.
What do others think?.

I'd like to try one to see what difference it makes. I use a JRC Carbon thing and it's more than light enough. Never had an issue netting a fish nor lost a fish because of a net.
But if I had the choice I would have a dymag. Just can't justify the cost.

People pay £1200 for some gold solar bobbin heads. If two people wants it bad enough and it gets into a bidding war i can see it going for £500 plus. People want what you cant get. We will find out in 9 days.

Easier to manoeuvre in the water,when you go to net a fish and lift up the net lifts out the water straight away.I have had a net that drooped that much that when you lifted the handle the net end stayed in the water until you had the handle quite high.It made it a right pain in the arse.I might be selling my Dymag MK3 and buy another Korda net

Think 38 inch is the perfect size for 99% of uk fishing.
If I have to go out in the boat I prefer to take my 36inch net and 2 piece handle with me rather than my 42inch Fox Warrior.
