Just seeing the way he went after Darrell Peck bringing his missus and kids into it made me realise what a total 🔔end he is and i’ll never use his site. Reckon quixote a few other people have that attitude too.

Least being close you can chase him uk if he ignores you and your rods go from 6 to 20 weeks with no communication, replies to email or calls. How he’s still going i don’t know as it’s not just me who had this experience.

Been offered a set of these from a friend who pretty much gave up fishing not long after getting them so they’re pretty much unused. Being around 15 years old i think and having so many Basia variants since can’t find much info on them from a search. Anyone use / used them? Just seeing what your opinions are of them and how they compare to the newer versions. Thanks

Have just got a quest which size wise etc is a cut above anything i’ve had before. However there seems to be issues with the remotes. A friend is using my remote for his boat as his has died and looking on facebook it seem fairly common. Issue being deeper don’t have any stock. So not sure how they can have great customer services when they run out of basic things like remotes.

They look good i like freespirit rods. Just a shame there’s nothing between 2.25 and 3.25

Mine has just turned up from Fishdeal. They had them for £1590 delivered. Ad apparently had none in their stock or they would have price matched. Looking forward to getting it out on the lake.

0% credit card and get whatever rods you want, work out the payment you want to make each month. Set up direct debit, making sure rods are paid before the end of the 0% period. Buy rods cut up card so you won't use it again and then cancel it once you've paid it off.
People don't like credit, but used right 0% credit cards are the cheapest way to borrow money. I put a lot of my extension through them (builders wanted labour only) to avoid adding to the mortgage and adding interest to the amount.
