it arrived today and I can confirm the Rhino Beam 5 light is simply apart from the white writing an identical rebadged light and a huge carp tax added to this light
I bought from aliexpress it came surprising fast too !! they say free shipping in 15 days but it was faster than that there is tax to be added

so total was £16.46 as opposed to £31.99 a huge saving of £15.53

I ordered one of these too which arrived this week. Paid an extra £3 and it can packaged with a small tripod.

In regards to this thiugh, I was looking at the rhinos as people were talking about them. What do you think they offer over a flash camera?

I use one as reinforcement for the flash on the camera rather than a replacement, gives more light to help the camera focus etc and also it's easier to see what you are doing

Exactly the same. And helps with the extra illumination of the swim so no need for a headtorch and also helps with the fish blending into the background

I agree the huge tripod seems OTT for carping.
And its not indicated for the one you got either, is there any info on the packaging?
I have a fox HALO photo light which is good, but I was thinking of getting 1 or 2 more to complement, way cheaper than a decent camera flash and arguably much nicer results.

Watts don't give much indication of the brightness, proper video lights will give a power output in lux@distance from which you can get a good idea of the exposure you can get.

That other light looks OK, I wouldn't want to take lightstand fishing tho, heavy bulky and they want weighting/anchoring if there's wind about, which adds to the weight.

I use a cheapo generic umbrella bracket for lights/flashes, they usually mount on spigots that go on top of a lightstand, and just happen to be the same size as the top of the chub storm poles I use.
Cheap light and rapid to set up, win win win

Well TBH I dont have a clue what the numbers mean

I just go by the reviews and the performance out of interest it says its Bi Colour is 3200K -6500k 3 light modes and 66 led index 95+
none of which I understand
but sounds good

Tbf, they are now pretty much all been delivered, only took 2 weeks! Though Tbf from hearing why they are striking due to their pensions changing I don't actually blame them. Be a whole different ball game if mps pensions were suddenly reduced

Hello mate. It's mainly cutlery, Iv done a few kettles but they are an absolute ball ache and they are no where near as good as Tcportraits who's are phenomenal
