Thank you Gerry
The search engine must have misinterpreted my enquiry.
probably better if I don't post any pictures.

Some forums have an "ignore" facility whereby [for instance] a user that constantly seems to start a ridiculous and totally unnecessary argument on an otherwise sensible thread can be hidden from view by the person not wishing to take part in it.
on the whole it generally improves the forum and makes it a much better place.
the amount of genuine people posting increases as they don't have to suffer the argumentative trolls.

what I think has very little to do with it,
it's basic common sense, batteries by their chemical process produce a highly explosive gas,
whether it vents, leaks through damage, or any other means its not a good idea to be close to it, smoking or cooking in proximity to it has pretty dumb, have you ever seen a battery explode? I have, the results were not pretty, it was only the guys spectacles that saved his eyes.
but then people don't always do the sensible thing do they.
a quick search will provide plenty of photos of melted bivvys, etc sometimes with fatal results.

Recharging, moving, or shaking a lead-acid battery can produce an explosive mixture of hydrogen and oxygen gases that escape through the battery's vents.

two small fenced waters close to me are completely fenced, one has had to remind people to "shut the bloody gate behind them", and that includes anglers, as well as the pizza deliveries, and those visiting the noddys when the pub chucks out. oddly enough they would be the first to complain there were no fish to catch.
the other is almost unbelievable,, the entire place is fenced like fort knox, cctv, regular fence patrols, the whole nine yards,
but one summer when the owner had the house doors front and back opened at the same time an otter came through the damn house to gain access to the lake, it didn't end well, as it didn't account for the family dogs.
as a precaution they now have stable doors back and front.
another testament to show how used to humans and habitation these recently introduced things are in comparison to the shy, reclusive creatures they once were, I guess once they have cleared an area of all food sources, they will become more brazen in searching for a new source.

Yes I agree 100%, he's a fairly good author and narrator.
I have an extensive library of books, fishing, many quite rare and valuable these days it seems, I'm not sure anyone reads books anymore, media today seems more about selling than educating.
I don't agree with every word from John Bailey, but I'm sure he's not too bothered about that,
but at least he'll not be trying to sell wrapping paper any time soon.

similar thing with foxes, a bloke shut the chickens up secure every night for months, and on the one night its forgotten the fox walks in a kills them all,, I'm asked,
"how did it know I left the door open"?
"It didn't,, it came every night."
it came the next night too,, but it didn't leave.
